On October 4 at The Icons Gala, we celebrated the stellar career of multi-award-winning composer, Alan Menken and presented the Luminary Award to Tamara and Jay Sims for their immense contribution to Porchlight Music Theatre.

Everyone had a great time as the cast belted out songs from some of Mr. Menken’s greatest hit shows and films including, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors and more!

Also a tremendous thanks to our 2026 Icons Gala sponsors and partners — @uvaechicago / @bukietyfloral / @jandlcatering / @venuewestchicago

London has plenty of icons.
Kayla didn’t come here to disappear between them.

Black dress, red details, classic London in the background — and a session with just the right amount of attitude.

Sometimes the city is the destination.
Sometimes it becomes your set.

You don’t have to compete with London for attention.

Sometimes you simply step into the frame — and the city becomes the supporting act.

Elegant, confident, unmistakably herself.

Because a portrait in London shouldn’t only show where you’ve been.
It should show who was there.

Elegante, segura e completamente ela mesma.
