i graduated last may!

here’s to 5 years of friendship, swag, campus journalism, all-nighters, co-op applications, mission hill excursions, roommate drama, hot pot parties, and more! i have been blessed to have met so many wonderful friends, colleagues, professors, and loved ones at northeastern who have all inspired me to be the woman i am today. i wouldn’t trade these past 5 years for the world ❤️.

i can’t talk about graduation without mentioning my baby, @burningrosenu. i helped found burning rose in january 2021 as @neu_ydsa’s leftist publication, and helped publish over 80 articles about campus activism—most notably, the 2023 pro-palestine encampments—, boston immigration policies, the 2024 presidential race, political opinions and more. i couldn’t have done it without my wonderful burning rose team, especially @joshuapastel, @elanuh, @theogray02, @cronepostings. thank you for making burning rose whole 🔥🌹. im hoping to make burning rose boston ydsa’s publication in the new year!

i also met the love of my life, @danouilikon, during my sophomore year. dan cared for me during one of the darkest moments of my life in 2022, even though he’d only known me for a month. i spent my days between his tiny room on symphony rd and my best friend’s apartment, just two houses down, for an entire year. after nearly 4 years of dating, we moved to brighton last september and have been living our days happier & brighter together. he is also the dude wearing my graduation heels in the last video 👠. dan, i love you more everyday and hope to never let you go 💗.

and finally, a cheers to my college bestie, the lovely halimat, aka @cronepostings. i am forever blessed to have met you in the wild during your drunken expedition to the charles in 2020. you are my jersey girl, my forever companion, my partner in crime, and the funniest person i know. may you never change and always find happiness 🙈. another special shoutout to @elanuh, my j-school companion and the most talented layout designer & nail tech that you will ever meet!
