The Molloy Stanner Games was a long day of “almosts” for NBGVTF, however our bulldogs still did amazing as they prepare for the league championship this weekend. 🔥🔥 🏅

Now for the series of “almosts”:

Our 4x800 made up of Abby Oak, Keira Shaw, Saige Smith and Alicia DeFilippis made their season debut in the relay, where they ran a time of 10:14.35. Which missed the school record by 2s 💪💪

Our bulldogs travelled to freedom games this past weekend and fueled off the overwhelming sense of freedom in the building 🦅 🇺🇸 and the great playlist playing throughout the track (whoever’s on aux needs a pay raise) absolutely dominated!

Marguel Allen, Shavanna Richards, Gabby Padmore and Samara Lawrence made their 4x200 debut this season and did not disappoint. The team ran a speedy 1:46.76 in prelims to secure their spot in the finals, where they took 2nd place with a blazing time of 1:45.60. ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ we are so excited to see how much more these girls can accomplish as we head into the peak of our season!

We also met success in our 4x400 team made up of Kassidy Volny, Kayla Riga, Jada Williams, and Breanna Powell, who ran a very speedy 4:25.93, showing off their potential in the event!!! 🐐🐐

Our 4x200 “B” team made of up of Kamille Black, Sukara Richards, Leandra Exantus and Kendra Guillaume ran a speedy time of 1:55.02 to show off their speed! 🔥🔥🔥

Our top distance squad made up of Saige Smith, Sydney Villalta, Keira Shaw and Teyla Lopez made the trip to double in the 1k and 600 and all did great!! 🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️ and we would like to formally announce that Saige did indeed get her braces off! 😃

Abby Oak ran a PB of 5:24.40 in the mile and then went on to run a PB of 1:45.82 in the 600m 👀👀👀

Great job girls, we are so excited to see our team come together, and what the future holds for our bulldogs! 💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙

Even if we don’t win , to say we’ve come this far , TO BE FINALISTS , In ALL THREE categories we were nominated in , we already won 🥹❤️!!!

Believing you are a winner , that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to comes from within and is not to be confused with arrogance. We at Salon HUE are just shy of 2 years open and have come thus far united as a team , by lifting each other up , supporting one another and really have defined the word team. Thank you to my staff, our friends, family and clients for your loyalty and support.

January we will know if we’ve won at the awards ceremony !
