One thing about moving to BC… your casual Sunday plans can turn into this 🏔️

Grateful for friends who are always down for a spontaneous adventure, even when it involves a very questionable amount of elevation gain 😂

Good company, tired legs & views worth every step.

I’m liking this new chapter 🤍

Big congrats to @kayldeiter & @riley_krivoshein on finishing 2nd place at @okanagangrizzlygames .

Kayley has been working hard with MODUS leading up to this event.
We’ve spent a lot of time working on rope climb efficiency & OH mobility for movements such as OH Lunges - that also happened to show up in the comp.
A great achievement with lots of hard work to continue moving forward!

Riley worked with MODUS for a short period as well focusing on specific skill progressions (SHSPU’s) for a previous comp in the spring.

Great job guys.

Kayley (@kayldeiter )has been working with MODUS for a few months now. Kayley has been dialed in with her running & hyrox. Give her a long grindy workout and she’ll walk circles around most.

After signing up for an RX competition this summer she decided it was time to dial in her strength, Olympic lifting technique and work on bar gymnastics.

⬇️ is a full day of training in her current block.

A Warm Up

A) Snatch Complex
*this is a snatch primer*
Power Snatch + Hang Squat Snatch + Drop Snatch
3 x (1+1+2)
All sets @ 55-65lbs

B) Snatch %
*done as singles*
E2MOM
1 x 2 @65lbs
1 x 2 @ 70lbs
1 x 1 @ 75lbs
1x 1 @ 80lbs
3 x 1 @ 80-95lbs

C) Back Squats
1 x 5 @ 75%
1 x 4 @ 78%
2 x 3 @ 80-85%

D) WOD
3 Rounds (FT)
12cal Echo
12 OHS (65lbs)
3 Rope Climbs
(Rest 2:00 Between)

*goal is smooth efficient rope climbs, don’t rush through, make sure you have a solid clamp everytime. Echo should be moderate pace but hold back enough that you’ll be able to go directly into an unbroken set of OHS.*

E) Cyclist Squat
*foot elevated on 15lbs plate*
3 x 8-10 @ 95lbs

All programming is provided to Athletes via CoachRx Platform. Demo videos are given with all movements, and review of athlete videos are done daily.

Feel free to reach out to find out more about how MODUS & Coach Ryan can help elevate your training.

Well guys, 2025 was…Not Really Good. But I am grateful for everything it gave me. Lifelong friendships, leadership lessons, memories, self trust and a lot of resilience.

The first half of the year, I felt like I’d found a purpose that extended beyond myself and the second half I spent mourning that identity and that purpose.

This community definitely has some lore but I hope that what you takeaway from it was the friendships, the smiles, the community that we built, and leave the rest.

Leading this community was an honour and a privilege. I learned, laughed, created, cried, made mistakes and grew more than I ever thought possible.

Thank you for showing up every week and saying yes to whatever we threw at you. Rain or shine, you all showed up with open hearts and open minds. Whether it was a fundraiser, leash buddies, NRG Lite, community playlists, pickleball socials, new routes or a themed run…you said yes to all my ideas and I am forever grateful.

Blessed with almost 50 Wednesdays, 250kms ran together, countless lunge lines, dozens of playlists, pizza, beers and of course our infamous song challenges.

Not everything unfolded the way it was intended or deserved to. But I’m taking all of the best parts with me onto the next chapter and leaving the rest in 2025, where it belongs. I hope you do too.

Just because something doesn’t end how we hope it does, doesn’t mean it wasn’t worth it.

Thank you for the lessons, the smiles, the friendships and the tears.

❤️

We couldn’t be prouder of what we just watched unfold

Ordinary people doing something wildly extraordinary. Twelve weeks ago, we committed, not knowing exactly how hard this thing would get, and then we showed up anyway.
We trained together, suffered together, leaned into discomfort instead of running from it, and when it got heavy—physically and mentally—we didn’t tap out.
Our first HYROX wasn’t just a race; it was proof that boundaries are optional when you’re willing to push past the voice that says “quit.”
We didn’t just finish, we leveled up.
This is what happens when a gym becomes a team, when consistency beats talent, and when discomfort becomes the teacher. Different humans now. Forever.
