BACK-TO-BACK AISA 2A STATE CHAMPS💙🤍💙

I couldn’t ask for a better way to finish my volleyball career. These past six years playing this sport have taught me so many valuable lessons, with the most important being to play for His Glory Alone.

To my teammates - Thank you for the constant support and encouragement throughout the years. Without y’all, I wouldn’t be the player or person I am today. All the laughs, tears, and hard work put in this summer (aka sled pulls…) paid off! I love each and every one of you!

To Coach Karmen & Coach Michelle - Thank you for pushing me to always do my best and to be a leader, even when it seemed impossible. I will forever cherish all the lessons, but the most important one I will never forget is to always stand for His glory. I couldn’t have asked for better coaches to have throughout my career. Thank you🤍

SENIOR NIGHT RECAP 💙✨

Senior Night brought a little bit of everything as the Cougars took on Hooper Academy!

🔹JV | 2-1 W
For the first time all season, JV split the opening two sets. After taking set one 25-13, the Cougars dropped a tight second set 25-27 before bouncing back to finish the night with a 15-12 win in the third. They had either won in two or lost in two every match this season, so this was the first time they had to battle through a deciding set — and they got it done!

And apparently we really were seeing double👯🏼‍♀️Caroline and Camille May had identical nights at the net, each recording 24 hitting attempts and 6 total kills! Martha Kyser led the offense with 7 total kills, Caroline and Camille followed with 6 each, and Louise Holmes added 4. Martha also served up 5 aces, while Ava Clary and Bailey Grace Bishop added 3 apiece. Allie Eicher anchored the defense with 9 digs, with Louise adding 5.

🔹V | 3-0 W
Varsity made quick work of the night, sweeping Hooper 25-16, 25-11, 25-11. Abby Sluder led the attack with 12 total kills, along with 6 blocks, 7 assists, 4 aces and 4 digs. Caroline Christmas added 6 kills, while Macie Sluder, Taylor Kyser and Mallory Newton each finished with 4. Mallory ran the offense with 17 assists, and Hailey Johnston led from the service line with 5 aces. Hailey and Kaylee Burt each added 5 digs defensively.

A special night celebrating our seniors and another good night of Cougar volleyball. 💙🤍
