Not going to lie, part of me was happy to have my Sunday back when Kam’s team lost their 8am game yesterday. But then, she got in my truck with tears in her eyes and said “my hitting is atrocious” and “I played like crap”. All I could do is just let her feel that for a minute and then ask her, well what do you want to do about it. I should have known what was coming next, this girl lives her life based on the answer to this question....WWKPD? So off to the cages it was. Time will tell if the the extra reps helped but it definitely changed her day so it was all worth it.

Years later… I’m still doing the same hitting progression @coach_katie_rohrer taught me when I first started doing lessons. Yesterday I went to the gym and then hit and caught. #fyp #getrecruited @nwbulletssoftball @ucsdsoftball @ucsd_coachpalmer @_taylor_gilmore @coachcbartlett @meganclark17
