Lyla’s graduation ceremony last night filled me with excitement for her future, and I thought I had it together, emotions cool and calm. But it was today, watching the CSAS class graduate that I was reminded it isn’t just the graduation day we’re celebrating; it’s the journey over the past 13 years. And the emotional flood hit me.

The highlight reel started playing through my head. Lyla’s first day of Kindergarten, first friendships, field trips, class parties, dances, orchestra concerts, incredible presentations and speeches. Teachers who believed in her, supported her, and still do. Elementary classroom moms who became our village 13 years ago and still are. Years and years of special moments and special people.
This community didn’t just educate my daughter. It raised her alongside us.
I’m still celebrating her future, but today, I’m celebrating the road that got her there.
Congrats, Class of 2026! 🎓
