tonight i bartend at keys for the very last time, and tomorrow keys closes it’s doors forever. 7 months behind that bar, yet a million memories in between. to everyone that came out to my shifts, drank with me, took a shot with me, laughed and smiled with me - thank you. you made this place more than just a bar, and more than just a job. keys bar - thank you for the best college experience i could’ve ever asked for. for the best coworkers i could ever have asked for. where strangers turned into regulars, and regulars turned into friends, and friends turned into family. thank you for all the blurry nights, the nights i’ll never forget, and the nights that i’ve definitely forgotten. the place that gave me the stories i’ll tell my children about, the place that i went to where i had no idea where to go. keys bar will never be just a bar to me, it felt like home. i’m heartbroken. one final aycd, i hope i see all your beautiful faces out tonight. this doesn’t feel real.
