The Love Archive, now in motion. 💌

A few days ago, we shared the stills.
Now, here’s what that day actually felt like.

Coffee being passed across the bar. Croissants disappearing from the table. Cameras out. Conversations everywhere. Old friends, new faces, music in the background — and a space we had imagined for so long finally feeling alive.

This was Wednesday, one day before we opened our doors in The Heights.

And before the morning rushes, the drive-thru runs, and all the new memories we’re making now, there was this: a room full of people experiencing this little corner of Love for the very first time.

To everyone who came early and gave our new home some of its first memories, thank you. 💗

The first pages are already written.
Now we get to see what comes next.

See you in The Heights. 🥐

Before we opened our doors, we got to share a little Love first. 💌

Our pre-opening was filled with first bites, first sips, familiar faces, new friends, and the kind of energy we hoped this space would hold from the very beginning.

We’ve always loved welcoming people in, but seeing you walk through our doors, celebrate with us, create with us, and receive Love Croissants with so much love right back meant more than we can say.

You were some of the first — but definitely not the last.

The Love Archive is only getting started. Thank you for being part of its first pages. 🤍

See you in The Heights.

Drew's Corner opened this week.

Our college football model had TCU at seventy nine percent. Drew sized up the same game and landed somewhere else. Same board, two takes, and both of them went up before kickoff.

Dr. Andrew Ramjit (@andrewramjit) joins maiden.bet as a human-in-the-loop analyst, bringing deep leadership experience across athletics, operations, education and statewide sports organisations. He adds what models can't: real-world context and judgment.

On Tuesday, four days out, Drew put his call up: "Everybody with common sense is taking TCU. Not me." His case was Belichick's year two, a new quarterback, and neutral ground in Dublin.

The number had Carolina at 21%. Most people see a number like that and take it at face value. Drew threw in some new perspectives.

Dublin, in the rain. Carolina 15, TCU 10. All ten of TCU's came in the first quarter, then nothing.

The number missed, but Drew's call landed. That's the whole idea: one board, two takes, the model does the math and Drew does the judgment.

And we're not a one trick pony. Football isn't the only sport we grade — we cover cricket too. Friday it was Namibia and South Africa. We had Namibia at 58%, posted before the toss. South Africa rested nearly their whole first team, so everybody else priced the badge. We priced the eleven. Namibia won by 18.

@kayleevel_ says the AI woman is throwing her off. Kaylee, you're not thrown off, you're a football girlie who found another one. Come sit with us.

Posted before. Graded after.

Rebrand is for the woman who wants better, but doesn’t know where to start. I’ve spent years rebranding, healing, studying and envisioning for this very moment. Rebrand Wellness was developed over several years through lived experiences of @becomingbrooklynnn and many nontraditional methods of healing. The intention is for this to be your safe space to rebrand, debrief, unpack, laugh, cry, release and build with women who are doing the same.

From wellness retreats to social activities, my goal is bring you the resources, community and space for you to feel seen, heard and supported in all the ways that count.

As a woman actively rebranding in her 30s, the biggest lesson I’ve learned is that I should have done this sooner. Consider this our soft launch and welcome to my inner world. I hope that you stay a while 🥹🦋

A Latin night sold out the museum. Again 🔥🦖 That says something about Houston. People aren’t just looking for somewhere to go. They want to feel part of something.

In all the years I’ve been teaching, performing, and creating places for Houston to dance, the venues have changed, but the reason I do it hasn’t. Music brings us together, and dance turns that moment into connection.

That’s what Culture Beat is about: find the beat, follow the connection (@culturebeatent)

Grateful to @hmns for giving our music, our dance, and our community a stage this big, and to Quimbara Latin Band for inviting me to share it, teach a few moves, and help get the museum dancing.

If you got your ticket, I’ll see you on the floor. Take pictures. We’re about to make that museum move.

If you missed this one, follow me @gohector so you know where to go next.

And as I always say…

¿Sí o Yes? 🎤
