i don’t think i’ll ever be ready for this to be over. it’s so weird knowing that something that has been such a huge part of my life for the last 4 years is just… over. i’m so sad that i don’t get to put on that uniform, step on that field, and do this with the people i love anymore.

this team has been so much more than softball to me. these girls have become some of my best friends, and i genuinely don’t know what i’m going to do without them. i’m going to miss the laughs, the bus rides, the celebrations, the stupid little moments, and just being around everyone every day.

to the younger girls, soak it all in. enjoy every practice, every game, every bus ride, and every little moment because it goes by so much faster than you think. one day you’ll wish you could come back and do it all one more time. keep making memories and don’t take any of it for granted.

cass and palm, thank you for all the memories and for making these last 10 years so special. i’m so sad that all three of us will never play together again. getting to grow up and play this game with you both is something i’ll always be so thankful for, and i’m going to miss it more than i can say.

i love this team more than words can explain, and a piece of my heart will always be on that field. I would do anything for just 5 more minutes. Thank you Jesus for the best 4 years a girl could ask for!! 12 out✌🏽
