POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Only two more Saturdays and wedding season is back!!!

It’s hard to believe it will start and end our spring wedding season within 30 days! Only 12 special weddings in 2026 and 5 of them are close family friends. The others are some of the most special couples.

So I’ll sit back and enjoy these last two weekends, because come May 1… we have 3 graduations, 2 weddings to capture, 1 wedding for our Caleb and Gracie, and some fun sessions. May will be wild…

But first, let’s rest well! #amycoleweddings

Weddings are more than just one moment…

they’re a beautiful unfolding of so many little chapters that make up one of the most important days of your life.

It starts slow and quiet, with the soft rustle of a gown, the clink of perfume bottles, and laughter echoing down the hallway as everyone gets ready. The nerves. The excitement. The deep breaths before the first look or the walk down the aisle.

Then come the people who’ve stood by your side, your best friends helping you zip your dress, your dad straightening his tie for the tenth time, your mom trying not to cry (and failing).

There’s so much love in those in-between moments, and it’s our joy to preserve every second.

The ceremony brings a sacred hush, the kind that settles over a crowd when something holy is happening.

Vows are spoken. Hands are held. Lives are joined. And just when the emotion settles in, the golden hour sneaks in and invites us to chase the light. Those dreamy sunset portraits? They hit different when you’re married.

And then…celebration.

Toasts, dancing, cake cutting, hugs from people who love you the most. It’s all a blur in the best way. But we’re there, camera in hand, making sure you never forget it.

This is what a wedding day feels like, and we’d love to be part of yours.

Now booking 2026 and 2027.

I’ve been on my feels!

We have captured some of the kindest couples I’ve ever known this year. They’re all so unique and truly, they’re some of my favorites. Many of them chose softer more quiet days. Some chose to go out of the box. Some chose the traditional style wedding but made it their own.

I’m just forever thankful these people pictured are Amy Cole couples for life. I adore them all so much!!!

Excuse me as I have a moment of thankfulness for these special gifts. #amycoleweddings

We breezed over Halloween and jumped straight into Christmas, we’ve had a busy few weeks.

Sadie Mae & her team, Everest, is ready for their first competition in a couple weeks — Parent Preview proved that they’re more than ready!

Corbit got his first ER visit and casted arm by breaking his ulna at the elbow. He was born keeping us on our toes and I have no doubt he’ll continue to do so!

I’m so proud of our kids and their perseverance, dedication, and love for their friends, family, & Jesus.

🤍❤️🤍

Here’s to the clients who are living real life and planning a wedding.

Because both are happening at the same time — and it’s not always simple, actually, it’s really hard.

Work deadlines. Travel. Family stuff. Exhausting weeks. It’s all real. And it doesn’t pause just because you’re engaged.

That’s why we build in margin.

• So there’s a call on the calendar each month to reset and refocus — no guessing, just clarity.

• So you know your goals and priorities, which makes it easier to say yes to the right things (and no to the rest).

• So your checklist is realistic — paced in a way that feels achievable, even when life is anything but quiet.

Our planning process isn’t about perfection.
It’s about helping you feel prepared. Aware. Supported.

So when life pulls you away for a week or two, you can come back to a clear next step. Not panic.

These dreamy details from a southern wedding in Alabama?

They didn’t happen because everything was flawless.
They happened because there was a plan (and a plan B that we had to switch to last minute) AND there was room for life to happen along the way.

This is how our clients spend their weekends: living life and planning something beautiful — with space for both.

Who you invite into your wedding matters.

Not just onto the guest list — but into the planning process.

The people you ask for input + ones standing beside you on the day you say I do.

Because here’s the truth: Your wedding party sets the tone.

Their energy, their support, their presence — it shapes the experience more than most people realize.

I flew to Alabama for this wedding, but the story started two summers ago in OKC.

I was coordinating a wedding there (shout out to my sweet couple @alex_norton74 + @lelia.norton_) and Derrick was a groomsman. He told me he was going to propose soon and hoped I’d meet his future fiancé.

We met.

We clicked.

And just a few months after he popped the question, they called and we got to work.

Fast forward to this summer:

+ Lunch at a vineyard with the bride’s mom.

+ A rehearsal where the wedding party made me feel like family.

+ The kind of vendor team that reminds you why you love what you do.

+ And a day that felt personal, joyful, and full of meaning.

The people around you matter — and I’m so grateful I got to be one of them for @derrick_baer3 + @kayliens.

If you’re in the thick of planning, don’t overlook your wedding party + vendor team.

Choose people who know you, support you, and bring peace to the process.

It was never about trends and honestly, it was better than any of the Pinterest ideas we found.

Kaylie + Derrick’s wedding at The Lumpkin House in Alabama was full of details you couldn’t ignore — but what made it unforgettable wasn’t what it looked like.

It was who it was for + how it perfectly represented them individually, and, told their love story all at the same time.

+ Custom golf balls as favors — a playful nod to Saturday mornings on the green for him

+ “Love is…” notes from Kaylie’s elementary students at every table — heartfelt and deeply her

+ And Coley, their pup, showing up in the most charming ways throughout the day

Their wedding can’t be replicated — because it was completely them.

That’s what we do here — we listen closely, plan intentionally, and design weddings that feel like you.

We’re just getting started sharing what made their day feel so right — and it only gets better from here.

If that’s the kind of wedding you’re dreaming of, let’s talk.
