With this solo, I remembered why I dance.

Contemporary has a way of stripping everything away and leaving nothing but truth. It challenged me to be vulnerable, to let go of perfection, and to simply feel. Every rehearsal and every performance became less about the steps and more about the story.

This piece reignited something in me that I didn’t even realize had dimmed. It reminded me that dance isn’t just about technique or awards, it’s about connection, expression, and finding pieces of yourself you didn’t know were waiting to be discovered.

I’m so grateful for this choreography, this journey, and @kaylin_moves who believed in me enough to help bring it to life. This solo will always hold a special place in my heart because it reminded me why I fell in love with dance in the first place.

Sometimes, the most meaningful performances aren’t the ones you perform… they’re the ones that transform you. @24sevendance

YAGP Finals 2026!
This experience has reminded me why I love dance so much and how grateful I am for every person who has helped me grow throughout this journey. Competing at Finals again after four years was incredibly special, and I’m leaving this week feeling inspired, motivated, and thankful for every moment. @yagp

A huge thank you to Ms. Larissa and the entire YAGP organization for creating opportunities that truly change dancers’ lives. I’m so grateful to have been part of such an inspiring week surrounded by so much talent and passion.

Next, thank you to my @singurballet family! Ms. Singur and Mr. Udval, your guidance, support, and belief in me mean more than I can put into words. Mr. Udval, thank you for traveling to Texas with me and supporting me throughout the week. I’m so grateful for everything you do for me both inside and outside the studio.

Thank you to @kaylin_moves for creating my contemporary solo with me. I truly can’t believe we created this piece over Zoom while reconnecting after knowing each other when I was younger makes it even more meaningful to me. Thank you for believing in me and helping me tell this story on stage.

Thank you to @the.ice.page for helping me grow not only as a dancer, but also as a person. This organization has given me so much confidence, unforgettable experiences, and friendships that I will always cherish. It was so wonderful to see @angeliqueharris92 again!!

And finally, thank you Alaina and Brooke! @tdancewearshoppe has supported me for so many years, and having people who genuinely believe in me and cheer me on throughout my journey means the world to me. I’m beyond thankful for your constant kindness and support.

So grateful for this week, these memories, and everyone who helped make it possible 🤍 #yagp #yagpfinals2026 #youthamericagrandprix #ballet #balletaesthetic
