8 years ago, we lost Craig, my father-in-law, and not a day goes by that I don’t wish we had more time with him. He was such a staple in my life, but in Garry’s, he was so much more. He was his dad, his person, a piece of who he is. When we lost him, I watched a piece of my husband die. That’s a pain I can’t fix, no matter how much I wish I could.

One thing I know for sure is that cancer sucks… he would still be here today if it weren’t for the cancer and that’s a hard pill to swallow sometimes. People say it gets easier but it really doesn’t you just learn to live with it. We still cry weekly missing him but we do know he’s in a better place. Craigy would be so proud of Garry. The man he’s become, the husband he is, and the heart he carries. I see so much of the love and strength that shaped him, and I wish he could be here to see it all. “If you could see me now you’d be proud” 😭🫶🏽

We miss you, Craigy. More than words can ever say ❤️
