for a long time (since 2017), i've pondered and sat on this idea, trying to figure out the most perfect way to execute it and go about marketing, branding, filing an llc, etc.

I initially was going to wait until 2020 because of school and balancing that, but then miraculously began sharing my venture early this month, inspired by the many podcasts and books i had been listening to and reading.

KaysKonnect (@kays.konnect) is a two fold venture. we are a personal branding, career, and consulting services company, that also gives referrals and represents creatives and business owners, ensuring that clients and consumers get the best deals for their individualized needs! we have exceptional customer service and response times, and work diligently to ensure a higher quality in life by everyone we touch.

i am thankful for all of your support, follows, and advice. this first event (of many) will be amazing! I'm excited to announce our corporate sponsors soon and see this vision coming to life (we're still looking for more sponsors and open to businesses and companies of all sizes)!

I am so incredibly thankful. It is true that time heals all, and that no condition is permanent.
•
Around this time last year, I felt like my life was in shambles. My then boyfriend was paralyzed from the neck down after a bike/car accident.
•
I was juggling classes, being Vice President, Treasurer, and Intake Chair of my sorority, and we were on our 3rd hospital move for his recovery.
•
I was stressed, not sleeping well, and questioning everything happening in my life at the moment.
•
I look back and see how much of a testimony that was, and how God was preparing me for the incredible growth I've seen this year.
•
I'm so thankful for my sorority sisters and the overwhelming support I got from all walks of life.
•
My next post will be more about KaysKonnect and this beautiful idea I've had since 2017, which has evolved to what you see today, but for now I'd like to reflect on the Forté Women of Color in Business Conference.
•
This conference was so amazing! I felt empowered to talk to and be in a room full of women who were driven, strategic, and like-minded. Women connected and striving towards greatness!
•
At the end of the conference, I didn't want it to end, so of course the social butterfly in me created a group chat to keep our connections going, lol.
•
Sometimes in life, it will feel like opportunities just fall in your lap. We're all magnets that attract things that align with our thoughts and our feelings.
•
Do you feel successful? Wealthy? Resourceful? Capable?
•
Once you begin to channel these feelings and positivity, you'll see wonders come into your life, just as I have!
•
I am truly blessed. I feel at peace coming into the woman I know God has destined me to be.
•
I networked, explored Washington DC (even toured the White House!) and took advantage of every idea that sparked in my mind, with persistence.
•
