Worried about keeping to your timeline? We always recommend remaining calm and flexible on a wedding day, but here's some ways that could help you plan accordingly and keep to your timeline as best as possible <3
- Trust your vendors. This goes for all, but specifically hair, makeup and photo. If a make up artist tells you she takes 45 min per girl, account for that time x number of bridesmaids. (I add an extra 5 min, because...life.)
- Makeup/hair artist choose your start time, photographers choose your "ready by" time. Hint: we allll backwards plan haha.
- Typically we at OC will give you a 15 min warning for portraits before the ceremony, it's necessary to wrangle all your bridal party and relay this message. More often than not, we're busy taking photos/planning, and are unable to gather bridal parties. (This is also a great job for your fav cousin/MOH.)
- A venue coordinator and a day of coordinator are two totally different things. Typically, a venue coordinator works for the venue and will help you with all aspects concerning your timeline for the venue, facility, and staff. A day of coordinator works for you, managing your timeline + bridal party. Both are important.
- In the event a timeline gets thrown off, I will always give you a "this or that" choice. More often than not, timelines are salvageable, and we can catch up on the back end. Nothing is worth getting upset on your wedding day, it will alllll workout :)

I think thats all for today folks. Happy wedding planning!
