1/11 Part 2 : Got back 2 the Amaterasu Railway for our 4:20 train ride ....another amazing tick off the Bucket List !! 🤗
The former Takachiho railway stopped opetating due to damages from a Typhoon in 2005.
It reopened as a tourist railway travelling over Japan's highest railway Bridge. They make it such a fun outing, lights, bubbles & all 🤗
We remember seeing this young guy on You - Tube when he was just starting his job on the railway. We were so lucky 2 meet him. Google translate came in handy & he was so excited 2 meet us from Australia as we felt very lucky 2 have met him 🤗
It really was a wonderful experience. More treasured memories made wuth my good hubby Rod oxo 💜😘

31/10 :Part 3 .... Met thr loveliest lady on the tram when we were heading to Glover Garden ...beautiful spot but way too many photos 2 get up 😉 Then on2 a quick visit down 2 the Wharf 2 Dejima which was the Dutch influence. It was the sole trading port between Japan & the west during the countries isolatiionist period. It was initially used for the Portuguese residents but later became the exclusive Dutch Trading Post from 1641 to 1858.
A massive day of adventures fitted in 🤗 We so love Nagasaki 🤗
