Setting New Benchmarks on the Water 🚣‍♂️🔥
Competing in the IBA Rowing Championship 2026 wasn’t just another race on the calendar—it was a milestone chapter in my athletic journey.
Crossing that finish line wasn't just about setting personal bests and breaking records; it was the culmination of early morning trainings, countless ergs, disciplined preparation, and pushing past physical limits.
A massive thank you to my teammates, coaches, and the organizers at IBA for hosting an unforgettable, high-octane championship. The standard of competition this year was extraordinary.
Grateful for the record-breaking moments, but even more motivated for what’s ahead. Back to the oars! 💥

Rowed every single day of August and managed to finish 703K meters during the DDOSC’26, 1st in Pakistan 🇵🇰 and 2nd in the world 🔥. Definitely wasn’t an easy month with plenty of obstacles and some rough sessions, but kept showing up and getting the meters done no matter what.
.
Big congrats to @headcoachkbc for finishing 3rd in the world, right behind me 🙌🔥
.
And a big thank you to KBC for the lovely mug to mark the achievement, definitely a nice one to add to the collection
.
703K done, August completed. Onto the next one 🫡🚣‍♂️

As a mother I often wonder what our kids pick up from us.
I was never into competitions. [well... I didn’t really have any competition 😇] But I was ambitious and always moved at my own pace.
And Nyle is so much like me. He’s never been the “competition” kid. He does things for the love of it, not the wIn. He totally moves to his own rhythm.
Today he agreed to row only because “the weather’s nice, I think I’ll take part.” He came back with silver.
Like mother, like son …. Or is it just a Gen Alpha thing to not play the game, but still win it?
