✨ BOOK FEATURE ✨ I have off work today again! i’ll be spending the day reading Stranger Things: One Way Or Another. yay me! now check out this super cool and creepy book I just received… 👀 Mothman Proudly Presents by K. Bengston COME SEE MOTHMAN ON HISTORIC HIGHWAY 20! ADULTS ONLY. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK. For Garrett Platt, it started with a missing child and a traveling show. He didn’t know the boy. He didn’t know the circus. But the moment the tents vanished, a predatory fixation gripped him, costing him his relationship, his sanity, and his future. Now, Garrett and a fellow obsessed tracker have followed the trail to a decaying midwestern town. They think they’re hunting a myth. They don’t realize they’re walking directly into a trap decades in the making. When the midway opens, their reality fractures. Friends vanish, blood is spilled behind closed doors, and Garrett is thrust into a distorted maze of mirrors and deep-earth horrors that defy human comprehension. To survive the night, he’ll have to become just as lethal as the monsters in the dark—but maybe that’s exactly what they want. Step right up. The show is about to begin. 🚨 THIS ONE IS OUT NOW! 🚨

Mothman proudly presents by K. Bengston ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Like cosmic dread? Liminal spaces? Circus horror? Go pick this one up now!! 🎪 REVIEW: This book. I had to pause reading for a few days after because of the emotions I felt while reading it. It made me hella anxious, excited, terrified, curious, and sad. It was told in multiple parts and was almost pieced together like a puzzle with how many layers there were to it. I felt for Garrett and his obsession with getting revenge on the mysterious horror circus folk, and was rooting for him from the start. Joey I obviously loved immediately with his quirkiness and big heart. The farmhouse couple was creepy as hell, and I was anxiously waiting to see wtf was going to happen with that. You do in fact find out. I loved the way the story built, and the pacing worked well for me. The action once they get to the circus is absolutely nuts, dizzying, gory and did not disappoint. This is unlike anything I’ve ever read and I enjoyed it immensely. Carnival horror with creepy creatures, mystery, gore and suspense?! Who doesn’t that call to? This is technically the third installment in a series but can also be read as a standalone. We read and loved Mother Dauber as well, but still need to read the Boatman and will have to give this book a re-read after! K. bengston’s imagery and writing is incredible and we can’t wait to see more from him. Thank you @kbengstonwrites for the arc and for your patience 🤪🫶🏻

🌟ARC Review🌟 Very spooky and uneasy read. I honestly don't know what to say about Mothman. I was originally only interested because I do love Mothman as cryptid (he's my favorite) and I was really intrigued by the idea of a carnival people disappear from and he is at the center of it all. I was engrossed from start to finish. Garrett was the craziest MC I've ever read. I swear I saw that attic secret coming! (IFYKYK). I'm glad Garrett did what he did! Justice for Harper! Boots will forever be in my heart 🐈‍⬛
