INFLATABLE DEVOTION, 2026
by Elina Tailor @elinatailor.art
150x150cm Oil on canvas
Now available @artsy

“We often trust something because everyone around us trusts it too. The longer it stands, the harder it becomes to imagine it falling. And once we’ve built our lives around it, looking away can feel easier than asking what is really holding it up.”

Parenting III, 2026
by Tianhao @tianhaoart
80x80cm Oil on canvas
Now available @artsy

In Parenting III, a young woman gathers an oversized coat around her body, pink ruffles framing her watchful face. Across the water, a window glows. Above her, an enormous cat leaps through the sky.

The coat recalls a mother adding one more layer against the cold. Here, that care almost conceals the person it protects. The daughter holds it close, suggesting how difficult it can be to set aside something given with love, even when it becomes a burden. Nearby fishing nets echo this tension between protection and restriction.

The water suggests a quieter distance: the things a daughter leaves unsaid to spare her mother worry, until sharing her life becomes harder. Above her, the cat moves with impossible freedom, perhaps embodying her wish to live without guilt and return home as the person she has become.

The painting’s tenderness lies in the possibility that both fear losing each other. Growing up asks the daughter to choose without feeling ungrateful, and the mother to discover that being needed less does not mean being loved less. The window remains lit, holding the hope that a life her mother never imagined can still be welcomed home.

I Could Have Danced All Night, 2026
by Piero Tianli @kbfineartgallery
120x100cm Oil on canvas
Now available @artsy

You know the feeling when a wonderful evening is over, but you linger at the door and start one more conversation? You know you have to leave. You just aren’t ready for the night to end.

The ballerina seems to feel it too. She has loved her time onstage, and for one more moment, she can still hear the music.
