💙🩵 Kappa Beta Gamma 🩵💙

In honor of our formal rush being last night, I wanted to give you guys a little more information and context about this organization that I hold so dear to my heart! 🎀

KBG is an international sorority with chapters all across the United States and even into Canada! Our official motto is character, culture, and courage where we put emphasis on improving members morally, socially, and intellectually, but we also keep sisterhood, loyalty, fidelity, charity, love, and faith at the center of all our actions! 💞

Our colors are deep sapphire, pearl white, and old gold and our flower is a forget-me-not so we always remember the sisters who came before us! Our beloved mascot is Jermain the lion, named after our founding president Teresa Jermain! 🦁

Our lineage goes all the way back to 1917 with our first chapter opening January 22nd in Milwaukee Wisconsin! We partner with Special Olympics as our philanthropy and do things such as help out at tournaments and themed cold plunges into DC rogers lake! ❄️

I have been a part of Kappa going on three years now and can truly attest to the fact that you will meet your forever friends! I have been able to join the International Health and Wellbeing Committee as well as being our local chapter’s Judicial chair, and Sisterhood Committee leader! I’m so grateful for each and every experience I have been offered through this sorority and cannot wait to see what’s in store for my last year! 🍾

Truly blessed to have played a small part in coral restoration in Roatán, Honduras. 🪸 Leaving behind something that will continue to grow and give back to the reef for years to come means more than I can put into words. Thank you to the incredible dive crew, boat crew, my professors and “The Legend” for making it possible. 🌊🤍 #Underthesea #Roatan #Saltysoul
