for the first time in a couple of years, I haven’t experienced the birthday blues. I used to get wrapped up in the pressure of the day and let down by the expectations I put on others. it was a spiral that left me feeling forgotten by people who didn’t care when I really wanted them to. a hard lesson to learn. now I find comfort in knowing that I am loved for who I am without having to convince anyone. thankful for the people who helped me realize that - some are pictured here. here is to 31 baby!!!
