Japan you had my whole heart for the past 1.5 weeks 🇯🇵

Can’t quite put into words how much joy this trip brought me. Did Ultra Japan, visited Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo. So many fun hangs, so many great memories made. Somehow Japan just gets better every time 🤍❤️

One thing I do sometimes for VJ shows, especially techno shows, is start with a completely empty @resolume deck during programming. For the visuals at the X stage at @awakenings festival recently, I used no prerendered loops. Everything was generated live in software, using just Resolume's native generators and effects, and the @hybrid_joris plugins for chasers and mapping. Forcing limitations like this can be a huge help in creating a cohesive look for the stage, and forces you to pay attention to color, composition and making the visuals blend with the lights. Everything you add in this way is created to serve this stage, and this stage alone. It also helps you break out of your fixed back of tricks, as you're made to come up with creative combinations of shapes and effects to create something new. #vj #techno #resolume #digitalart #videoart

TEGENDRAADS Festival 2026.

Every year, this one remains special.

I’m incredibly grateful to still be part of the TEGENDRAADS family and for the trust the team continues to place in me. Being able to contribute to this festival year after year is something I never take for granted.

This year, I was responsible for the light design, programming and operator at the mainstage. I also had the privilege of leading the creative direction for the closing show, coordinating the lighting, laser, video and SFX/Pyro and bringing every discipline together into one seamless show.

Besides that, it was great to see the @maoss_design team delivering lighting operators across all festival areas throughout the day. Seeing the team grow and take on productions like this makes me incredibly proud.

A huge thank you to the entire production, crew and everyone involved for another amazing edition. Looking forward to creating even more together. 🖤

Couple more shots from @awakenings Festival, Area X. Very cool stage to work with, and a great example of how things come together when video and light are in lockstep with each other

VWAB Festival - The classics Stadium

It was time once again for one of our favorite festivals, Vroeger Was Alles Beter.

This year’s edition embraced the football fever with a massive stadium-inspired mainstage, creating an incredible setting for a full day of classics.

This year, we were proud to be involved in multiple aspects of the production. Besides providing lighting operators across all festival areas, we also created the Stage Design for Area 2 and the Lighting Design for the Mainstage.

For the Mainstage Closing Show, we coordinated the complete show direction, bringing all technical disciplines together into one perfectly timed finale.

Another unforgettable day, and once again a closing show that gave everyone goosebumps.

A huge thank you to everyone involved. See you next year! ❤️

Got a last minute call to take over for someone at Area C at Awakenings. No screens, just a huge LED strip roof. No DJ names or logos to put up. No USBs with crappy artist content. Just color, patterns and rhythm. Lots and lots of Chaser and Wiper and Outliner. Pure VJ'ing. Thanks for reminding me what it can be like, @kbkvisuals

🎯 2 days VJ'ing @ Free Your Mind Festival, Arnhem!

The setup featured a large circular screen under a bridge. We used the visuals to give it the appearance of a convex lens, creating depth and movement throughout the shows.

A great weekend filled with techno, good energy and performances from artists such as Pan-Pot Âme, Patrick Mason and many others.

Special thanks to @kbkvisuals
