“Every good story starts at the beginning” Closing a 9-year chapter with the Long Island Nets and BSE. Bittersweet, but incredibly grateful for the growth, lessons, and memories along the way. Growing up, all I wanted was to stay close to the game and I was lucky enough to do that and so much more, representing a brand rooted right where I grew up. From: • 3 Social Responsibility Awards • Creating impactful programs for youth and families • Developing entertainment teams • Directing international games BUT the best part will always be the people and lifelong friends who became family. Getting ownership of CurlCap back meant that I could do things the way I always imagined. This weekend I did just that! I had the honor of facilitating a CurlCap workshop during OLORI Beauty’s product launch where @harlemcycle was the perfect setting to celebrate the intersection of culture, community and creativity. And of course, @mamasonesauce brought the flavor as our trusted food partner. Shoutout to @jahrellsnaps on the 📸 Each guest designed a CurlCap that reflected her voice and her story. What began as a hands-on creative experience quickly evolved into something deeper. This became a space for healing, confidence and self-expression. To think I had to fight for something so empowering and impactful reminds me of how the enemy tries to block our blessings. Yet the responses from this workshop have shown me just how important my lil vision is. Fight for the life of your dreams, someone else’s healing may depend on it. I’m grateful to see this chapter of my story, where God gets the glory 🫶🏾 XO
