Cancer took away her chance to see @noahkahanmusic . Last week, her family carried her picture into the concert instead. 💔🦋

And a wish cancer left unfinished finally came true.

We have started writing this post over and over, only to realize there may never be enough words to simply say thank you.

Last week, Noah Kahan and his incredible team welcomed our Cancer Warriors and their families to his Salt Lake City show.

They didn’t just give them tickets.

They gave them moments cancer could not take away.

The beautiful Cancer Warrior @kikistrong_18 dreamed of seeing Noah in 2024, but when the concert came, she was too sick to attend.

Last week, her family went carrying Kiki’s picture with them.

She couldn’t physically be there, but she was part of every song, every tear, every moment. 💜

Afterward, her family shared:

“They helped us turn sad moments into beautiful memories.”

Other Cancer Warriors and families were there that night too, each walking a different journey. But for a few precious hours, they were able to simply LIVE to smile, sing, laugh, love, and make memories.

Cancer steals time.
Cancer steals plans.

But cancer cannot steal a beautiful memory.

Noah, thank you for seeing our Warriors.
Thank you for welcoming them.
Thank you for giving them a night when cancer didn’t get to win.

And a very special thank you to @xx_kipling_xx and @ethanlundtattooing for believing in our mission and continuing to stand beside our Cancer Warriors and their families. 🫶🏽

From all of us at Ink Against Cancer Foundation…
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.🫶🏽

You gave them more than a concert.

You gave them a memory forever.🦋

Help us keep creating moments cancer can’t take away. Share our mission. Support a Cancer Warrior. Remind them they are never alone.

NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE.

“I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good old days before you’ve actually left them” - Andy Bernard, The Office

Today, my first co-host, @kbul.bobrichards says goodbye to @kbul981‼️ In this business, to walk away on your own terms is rare.

Bob gave me my first full time radio gig. He took a chance on a wide-eyed, naive girl from the middle of Minnesota, who was just trying to make it in the biz. I’d like to think that chance paid off.

Almost everything I have in my adult life is from the chain reaction of him hiring me and moving me to Reno ten years ago! It’s funny how one thing leads to another.

Looking back at all these pictures, I realized, these were the good old days! It wasn’t always easy, but I had the time of my life working with you!

Congratulations, Bob! Here is to the next amazing chapter in your life. Spread your wings and fly, young butterfly! Or at least cruise off in the Saab, turbo convertible…

What’s in Kristen’s CD player?

Yes! I have a CD player in my car and my 20+ year old book of CDs.

This week we’re getting ready for @mirandalambert at the Nugget Event Center.

Kerosene is Miranda’s debut studio album from 2005.

Pretty sure I still know every word to every song on this album. If I had to pick a few favorites they’d be Bring Me Down, Mama I’m Alright and of course the big hit Kerosene.

Kerosene was my THEME SONG when it came out.
I just had my first heartbreak. After two years together, my boyfriend broke up with me and was engaged just two months later 😳
The line, “I’ll find somewhere to lay my blame, the day she changes her last name” definitely hit home! 🔥

Miranda and I are the same age, both married hot younger guys… it’s like we’re besties… she just doesn’t know it 😆
