Bill Sponsors and Student Y Chapter Members alike work to address the needs of Kentuckians. Whether it be legislation, advocacy work, fundraising, or direct service Kentucky teens are making an impact!

Join us this weekend as we make Birthday Kits for families in need. When parents must prioritize essentials like food and utilities, birthdays often go uncelebrated. By assembling these kits, we can help ensure that a child has the chance to feel celebrated on their special day. Your participation will bring joy, dignity, and a meaningful moment of normalcy to families who need it most.

We will have FREE pizza and drinks while we package these kits for families. With a movie playing in the background, Friendsgiving is a fun way to serve your community!

Enjoy a trip down memory lane with a flashback to the very first Friendsgiving where students cut up old shirts to make dog blankets for shelters!

Last weekend in between helping fair goers vote for next year’s “I Voted” sticker our volunteers checked in on their voter registration status as well.

Registering voters is a passion for our Student Y Chapters, and the time has almost come for them to start their drives this year. We are just three weeks shy of National Voter Registration Day and this year’s Voter Registration Tool Kits are almost ready!

Sign ups for FREE Voter Registration Tool Kits will go out to Chapter Officers and Advisors on Friday! Slide through for a sneak peek at our new voter registration items.

This past Friday, with the help of the @kcd_ychapter , I hosted a bake sale and hot apple cider bar to support @ejlouky ! Educational Justice is a fantastic organization that I’ve volunteered with since freshman year and it inspired me to make education equity one of the platforms of my campaign. I’m thrilled to say we raised $421 for this amazing organization that is making an incredible impact on the Louisville community!
