Story time! When I was a kid sneaking around watching horror films I wasn’t supposed to be, I came across one that stuck out to me the most… SLEEPAWAY CAMP! The poster was the coolest design I’d ever seen and I knew I HAD to watch it! I turned the lights off, watched it and was not only amazed, but inspired! It wasn’t just your average slasher, it had lots of humor and quotable lines that I would repeat for days! I also related a lot to Angela. Granted, I didn’t have homicidal tendencies, but I was a quiet, awkward kid that didn’t really fit in and was bullied. This wasn’t just a movie that I loved… it inspired me to wanna become a filmmaker. Fast forward years later when I actually began making films… that journey led me to meeting @felissarose123 , in those times she was not only a great acquaintance but also an amazing advice giver. Years have passed but today I was able to visit an old pal and meet some amazing people that were honestly so nice and loving that it left me feeling so inspired once again. To Felissa, I know it’s been a long time but you’ve always been so kind to me and my family. Thank you. To @thekarenfields , talking with you was such a delight and I hope we get to work together someday! To @realchriscollet , I’m sorry I interrupted your breakfast but I appreciated the great convo! To @thomasvandell , You went out of your way to compliment my poster and made me feel like a real “cool cat” for the day… I appreciate the kind words! Dm me! I’ll get a poster printed for you! Last but not least… To @kcinla7 , I apologize for skipping over you and having you sign last, BUT you were amazing and I promise next time, I’ll visit you first! I’m also super jealous you have an OG print of the poster! That’s amazing! Also, RIP Jonathan… you were a great Scarefest neighbor! @kenanthompson is really missing out by not having me direct this new Sleepaway Camp! All I know is EVERYONE (including these fine folk) should be involved.

Guys… the @hauntersagainsthate convention was SO MUCH FUN! I got to hang with amazing cast members from Sleepaway Camp, Friday The 13th, and Chopping Mall. All of whom could NOT have been more fun, sweet, knowledgeable, and just plain rad. ON TOP of that I got to hang with Julie Brown, who wrote and performed “Cause I’m A Blonde” which was a MAJOR part of my early drag (you CT people will know). I also got to perform with the ghouls of the @monsterdragcollective!! A giant thank you to everyone involved with Haunters Against Hate, especially the amazing founder Paul Lanner! 🎃 Fit by @lauren.rose.designs Hair by @auroragozmic
