25 today🎂 Hitting the quarter-century mark makes you stop and think. Thinking about how proud little me would be. Thinking about how much I used to overthink every little thing—and letting that go. Thinking about how silly some things seem now that used to bother me so much. Thinking about doing the right thing, even when no one is watching, and not needing recognition. Thinking of ways to be kinder to myself and to strangers. Thinking of ways to not be in such a hurry, to be more present in the moment, and to stop wishing for the next best thing. Thinking about the goals I once set that I’ve now surpassed—and stopping for a moment to be thankful. Thinking about constantly reinventing myself and giving less of a 🐀’🍑 about what other people think. 🤭
