I’m finally getting around to posting about Cinderella (sorry!) but I just wanted to say that I had a magical time performing this cute show!🩵✨It was an experience that I’ll never forget. Cinderella peeps thanks for being cool & for the fun. To my girls: thanks for being my sisters & mothers. This was a womanhood community that I so needed. I love you all so much!! Cheers to Cinderella & vanilla cake!🫶

Words cannot describe how much this show means to me. Last year, I told Charlie while eating sushi about this ambitious idea I had of putting on a theatrical production of The Crucible where I’d play Abigail Williams and he’d direct. And instead of him treating it like some crazy idea, he believed it not only could be done, but it could be done well! For the next year, we worked our butts off fundraising, emailing, designing, rehearsing, advertising, etc., etc. We had no idea what we were doing, but we knew we had to do it! Miracles upon miracles happened for this to work. It’s pretty amazing how far the idea of “the worst they can say is no” can take you and how much you can accomplish by just believing your worth and emailing everyone and anyone.

Playing Abigail Williams was the hardest and most rewarding thing I’ve done in my career. Constantly getting rejected in almost every audition for 8 years, but knowing your worth as an artist/actor and knowing that things would be different if they could “just see you” is so hard and so confusing. I knew Abigail Williams was in my reach but I was going to have to fight and work insanely hard to grab it! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to play a role perfectly, but I played her as honest and as human as I could! I couldn’t have asked for a better role to play for my first lead.

You can’t dream and expect them to happen, you have to MAKE your dreams happen.

“Life, woman, life is Gods most precious gift”
Performing The Crucible has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I truly am unbelievably grateful for this cast and this opportunity to perform one of the best written plays in the friken world.
This show challenged me tremendously and pushed me to be a better actor, and a better person.
I love and cherish each and every person that I had the pleasure of working with on this incredible project, and I sincerely hope our paths cross again.
“Pray you, someone take these.” And by “these” I mean these sad feelings towards closing, away from me.

It’s really a love letter to the sport I played for so many years, so thank you to the coaches, teammates, friends, and family who made it so special to me. This was inspired by something that actually happened to me, so excited to take that story and turn it into this video.

@kcopj is such a talented actor, every time I work with him I’m amazed. He takes any idea thrown his way and just expands on it until it’s fantastic

@nateduersch even though he’s just starting to act, he’s become such a utility man for me already, I can slot him into any role and he’ll kill it

@a.lex_russon I’m sad I didn’t have more for Alex to do, and yet he took those couple of seconds on screentime and made me laugh out loud on set and in the editing booth

@nate.nilson I’ve seen Nate’s stuff before and worked with him on set, but watching him actually take my ideas and turn it into something fun to look at was such a humbling experience. Phenomenal Cinematographer

@jakesuyak27 is such a calming influence on a set and he’s also ready to pitch in good ideas. He kept us at a great pace, and I couldn’t be happy with the set experience

@bella.keele she absolutely slayed as our sound mixer. Bella was nervous to come on, but I promised her a chill set, and she in turn delivered crystal clear audio that was a dream to edit with. She really can do anything on a set

@jasmcc81 was there for a good time and did everything we asked with a smile. Couldn’t have asked for a better person to round out the crew, and it was great just hanging out with him
