POV: You're just trying to film a nice video at a Hyundai N car meet… 😂💀

But there's always that ONE person who spots the camera and decides it's their time to shine.

Just another night with the Western Australian Hyundai N Performance community. Never a dull moment when you get a bunch of i30 Ns, i20 Ns and car enthusiasts together being menaces on the streets as expected. 🩵

Honestly, it's the people and the laughs that make these Perth car meets just as good as the cars themselves.

Never forget where you started. 🖤

Back in September 2023, I bought my 2020 Hyundai i30 Fastback N, a 6-speed manual in Performance Blue, completely stock with just 33,000 km on the clock.

Three years later, she's become something I never imagined when I first picked up the keys.

I've slowly transformed DEMURE into a car that feels completely my own. From the smallest exterior details to the performance upgrades, every modification has been chosen because it's something I wanted, not because it's what everyone else thinks an N should have.

And that's something I think gets lost in the car community sometimes.

Not every build needs to chase the highest horsepower figure, sit as low as possible or be built for the track.

DEMURE is my daily driver. She's also my family car.

She's the car that takes me to work, does the school runs, carries the groceries and takes my daughter and me wherever we need to go. But she's also the car that puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel.

I've always wanted that balance between performance, practicality, comfort and appearance.

That's why I've kept the factory suspension and chosen modifications that improve the driving experience without sacrificing what I need from a family daily.

The wheels, the styling, the sound, the little details. Individually, they might not seem like much, but together they've completely transformed this car.

Could I lower her? Absolutely.

Could I chase more power? Of course.

But would that make her a better car for me? Not necessarily.

I've never wanted to build DEMURE to meet someone else's expectations.

I wanted something practical enough for everyday life, fun enough to remind me why I love driving, and unique enough that when I walk away and look back, I know she's mine.

There's still plenty I'd love to do, but I'm in no rush. I want to enjoy the journey just as much as the finished result.

She might not be the lowest, loudest or fastest i30 N out there.

But she was never supposed to be.

She's DEMURE. She's my build. And I'm proud of how far she's come. 🖤

Three years of little changes making one big difference.
