It’s been a quiet but busy September, and I’m already starting to think about all of the holiday gatherings to come this Fall and Winter.

We’ve shared this client’s Wine Room we designed with KDW Home before, but today we’re revealing the adjacent Dining Room. Rich blue tones carry from one space to the next, while warm brass finishes create continuity and an easy flow for entertaining.

From cocktails in the Wine Room to dinner around the table, these spaces were designed to work beautifully together.

It’s not often I get to do projects in my own home these days but when I do, it’s pretty special! 🤎 I redesigned our mudroom to add cabinetry and make it more functional for our family. I got to work with some great people along the way too!

It’s got all of my favorite things - color, pattern, old, new, form, and function. Best of all, it’s authentic to us. Full video tour coming soon!

Every home deserves one room that feels like a secret.

In this home, Amy Wright’s “Soft and Delicate in the Lap and the Lull” transforms a butler’s pantry into something else entirely—a moment of escape tucked between the rituals of everyday life.

Wright’s layered dreamscapes, born from the overlooked and the untamed, have a way of expanding the spaces they inhabit. What was once a room for everyday tasks becomes a place to linger. Maybe even to daydream for a bit.

That’s one of art’s greatest gifts. It doesn’t simply decorate a home—it changes the way we move through it.
