Terrain angled down, targets at an upward angle from the shooting position, must be engaged under the tank trap.

Being adaptable to any circumstance and employing a solution that works for you and your firearms system is the best part of practical shooting.

Every division @fastmatches that comes with increasing equipment options also comes with a cost for having them.

Trooper division shooters have little restrictions on the equipment used and can use pistol caliber carbines for rifle and pistol targets.

The cost: they must hike everywhere on the range including an initial hike into the shooting area. They start most stages wearing their rucksack and some require it be worn for the duration. Whatever ammo and supplies (other than water) they start the day with is all they have access to.

FAST Idaho presented by @xtechtactical hosted by the Parma Rod and Gun Club was a great success! Over 3 days competitors fired a total of 70,000 rounds on stages that lasted as long as 6 minutes.

Thanks to all the hardworking match staff that put in the work to run it!

1st place in Minute Man (2nd overall) and 2nd place in Irons at @fastmatches Idaho presented by @xtechtactical. It was an awesome match, which was made even more awesomer by the dudes in my squad, who also took home a lot of hardware. I had reasonably good results on most stages but with @pharaoh__joe spotting for me, I was able to hit the 780 yard bonus target 11 times, which does wonders for one's score. Also scooped up an @unrivaled_technologies LSD and @xtechtactical goodies from the prize table!

Pistol:
@smithandwessoninc M&P 2.0 (just swapped slides for irons)
@apextactical trigger
@aimpoint_official Acro P2
@xtechtactical mags

Minute Man Rifle:
@ke_arms Run and Gunner Pro w/@unrivaled_technologies bits
@nightforce_optics ATACR 1-8
@cordinstruments Pandora

Irons Rifle:
Grandpappy's @springfieldarmoryinc M1A w/ an @unrivaled_technologies break. Yes, it works, just needs an adapter from Smith Enterprises

A special thanks to @ke_arms for this this optic mount I got from the prize table at the @fastmatches IGSAC last month. Finally got around to installing it on my Mossberg and it works great. Love the patch you included with it!
