Quarter of a century on this planet 🌍

This is not a ‘look how perfect my life is’ post, but more a ‘you really have no idea how much can happen in five years’ post

You can have a general direction and idea of where life is going, you need that for momentum. But the opportunities that arise, doors that close or open, people you meet, tragedies and triumphs that come your way can all massively influence and drastically change the course of life.

When I left school I had no idea it was even possible to be an artist. That was ‘just a hobby’
This will be the year that I become a full time artist.

I kept getting into relationships with either toxic or unavailable men and played out unhealthy patterns in my romantic life.
I now find myself blessed with an amazing partner who I am building a future with.

I was led to believe that my beauty and vitality would peak in my early 20s and it went down hill from there. Yet I feel like my security, confidence, strength and health in my body now is only getting better.

And the thread that ties it all together seems to be the people…
I have multiple artists around me that are living the reality I want - my partner, my mentor, and others that are both role models and friends.

I stopped being the victim of relationships ending badly, did some serious self reflection, admitted where I was being immature or toxic too, and made very conscious decisions about what relationship I want and how I deserve to be treated.

I’m surrounded by many women that are older than me, who look after themselves, lift each other up, don’t gossip, radiate confidence, and role model that beauty, health and life in general doesn’t peak when you’re 21.

The people you surround yourself with has a huge role to play in the shaping of your reality in the now and in the future.

I hope this next year brings me deeper into my purpose, confidence, power, intuition, integrity, discipline, creativity and fun. Chur

I’ve been blown away by the recent response to my posts, this means I’ve been able to reach a wider audience and share my art with more people.

This is huge for me, it provides me with more opportunities as an artist making a living and building freedom through my creations.

So welcome, and thank you for joining this journey with me.

Comment where in the world you’re tuning in from and let’s connect

OK so it's time to share my reflection of "Te Manawa" the gallery showcase of @resonancefestivalnz

Firstly I want to thank everyone who helped this vision come to life!

Hayden @trip.heavy did all the back end admin, organized the docs , did the whole catalog to make things go smoothly on-site & helped to curate the placement of all the art. It was a dream to work with you bro! Ngā mihi nui e hoa!

The beautiful gallery kaitiaki @gracepaints.nz @psychedelic_eutopia @crisycls @l1bertee @xrenas_worldx @the_art_of_mathew_dell. You lot held it down! Being able to trust my team to hold the space is so important to me and I can't thank you enough for helping hold this space for artists to showcase their hearts!

9 pieces went to new homes! Massive congratulations to all the artists who sold or traded pieces!

Massive congratulations to all the artists who showcased. @earthly_echoes_nz @transcend.art_ @cosmic_weave @badartbybianca @benji_musson @geos.garden @georgepaynt @thewhitefeather.nz @l1bertee.l0ves @kea.arts @hexiis_creations @trip.heavy

Thankyou to all the tamariki who painted shells and added them around the gallery for decor! Very cute!

I was absolutely blown away by the amount of talent & skill that was displayed from the crew of Resonance! Everyone bar one artist was part of the making of Resonance Festival! Our crew has some mad hidden talents!

Thankyou to the team who helped build the walls! Lenny, Morgan & Chey, you are amazing! I came in with the idea and you lot absolutely smashed it! The walls were so stable! (I literally was climbing them to put up decor!) The placement was perfect and they looked beautiful!

It's hard to find the right words to truly express how grateful and happy I am to have been given the opportunity to bring this space into Resonance! Ngā mihi nui for trusting me with this!

Art & creation is at the core of our being and I couldn't be more passionate about assisting in artists being seen, felt & heard ❤️‍🔥

We have many ideas brewing to hopefully bring more of these sharing art spaces to events!

E whakaamihi ana au i tō tautoko
Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou
E harakoa au
