"Ahead of their new album, 'Love and All Its Wares', set for release in January '27, Ireland's Amble are back on the road.

Glasgow was the second night of the tour, and with a sold out O2 Academy crowd waiting on them, it was clear from the get go that this night was going to be incredibly special for Amble fans, collectively celebrating the beauty of folk." 📸✍️ @photogramanda

Amble’s UK headline tour has already taken the Irish trio through Sheffield, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham and Cardiff, with the run now heading to its biggest London stop at O2 Academy Brixton on 8th October. The tour has marked another major step up for the band, with larger venues and multiple sold-out dates following their rapid rise over the last few years.

🎶 Next Stops 🎶

London is the final UK date of this current run. After Brixton, Amble head across the Atlantic, with their next shows beginning in Phoenix on 22nd October, followed by Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver and Minneapolis as their North American tour continues.

🎶 About Amble 🎶

Amble are an Irish folk trio made up of Robbie Cunningham on lead vocals and guitar, Oisin McCaffrey on vocals and guitar, and Ross McNerney on mandolin and bouzouki. The band formed in 2022 after the three friends began playing together, eventually leaving their previous careers to pursue music full-time.

Their sound is built around acoustic instrumentation, close harmonies and story-driven songwriting, giving their music an intimate and stripped-back feel. After building an audience with songs including Mariner Boy, Mary’s Pub and Lonely Island, Amble signed with Warner Records and released their debut album, Reverie, in 2025. Their growth since then has taken them from small Irish shows to sold-out venues around the world.

Amble’s UK tour rolls into Cardiff tonight, with the Irish folk trio taking over The Great Hall at Cardiff University Students’ Union. 🎶

The current UK run kicked off in Sheffield on 28th September and has already taken Amble through Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and Nottingham, with several dates selling out along the way. Cardiff is the penultimate stop of this run, before the tour finishes with a sold-out night at O2 Academy Brixton in London on 8th October. After that, the band head across the Atlantic for an extensive North American tour later this month.

UK tour so far / next stops:

28th Sept. — Sheffield, Octagon Centre
30th Sept. — Glasgow, O2 Academy Glasgow
2nd Oct. — Newcastle, O2 City Hall
3rd Oct. — Manchester, O2 Apollo
5th Oct. — Nottingham, Rock City
6th Oct. — Cardiff, The Great Hall
8th Oct. — London, O2 Academy Brixton

Amble are Robbie Cunningham, Oisín McCaffrey and Ross McNerney, an Irish folk trio whose stripped-back acoustic sound combines close harmonies with intimate, story-led songwriting. Robbie handles lead vocals and guitar, Oisín vocals and guitar, while Ross plays mandolin and bouzouki. The group came together in 2022 after Robbie and Oisín began playing together, with Ross joining them for what became the show that convinced the three to form the band properly.

Their debut album Reverie arrived in 2025, following a rapid rise from small Irish shows to sold-out venues around the world. Amble have since announced their second album, Love And All Its Wares, which is due on 29th January 2027.

Tonight, it’s Cardiff’s turn 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
