As we enter the final day of @artvillenash , so many thank-yous are in order for everyone who helped me bring Spin Your Story to life. ✨

When I opened my studio in 2018, I never could have imagined the relationships and connections that would grow through art. It makes me warm and fuzzy to reflect on how many of you have become friends, collaborators, and trusted people I can call on when tackling an ambitious project like this.

First, a huge thank you to @sherriartstudio for your incredible workshop and books on this new-to-me technique and medium. (She has so many different workshops, I can’t recommend them enough!) Your expertise and guidance were absolutely critical in creating these pieces.

Thank you to @amberlelliart and @claybeasts for sharing your wisdom and metalworking skills—you both rule. And thank you to the amazing installation team at @artupnashville for your support and hard work.

I’m also deeply grateful to @artvillenash and @saturnsamantha for taking a chance on me and giving me this incredible opportunity and platform. The amount of work it takes to put on something of this scale is staggering, and I’m so thankful for all you do and for the way you shine a light on the Nashville and surrounding arts community.

And of course, endless thanks to my husband and family for their love, support, and patience through all the late nights and wild ideas.

And finally, thank you to everyone who came out to give the pieces a spin in person and for all of the love from near and far.

Suuuuuper smooth install day today @artvillenash thanks to the amazing crew at @artupnashville 💯🙏 and my hunny bunny ❤️ the only lil’ snafu was a city bus swiping the bumper off my car 🙈 but really nothing could get me down after seeing these pieces come together for the first time!

Come check them out at Artville this weekend alongside so many incredible sculptures + vendors at the American Artisan Festival, Friday–Sunday. Hope to see you there! ☀️☀️☀️

To say I’m excited to share this project at @artvillenash this weekend is an understatement. 🌟 These two 8-foot towers are by far the most ambitious, complex, and challenging pieces I’ve ever created, truly one learning curve after another, week after week.

I didn’t have enough experience with the process to gauge how long each phase would take, and every step seemed to end with me thinking, “Well, that took longer than I thought it would!” Some days I’d finish work feeling energized and eager to share the process with you, only to be too exhausted to do so by night. Other days didn’t go quite as smoothly, and my confidence would waver. Painting was the last step and to my surprise was an absolute joy and felt like the reward at the end!

But despite the ups and downs, I was continually fueled by the vision of what I was building and that kept me going. I love how they turned out and can’t wait for you to see them.

I hope you’ll come experience these two interactive sculptures for yourself this weekend @artvillenash !

Lots of progress underway on my @artvillenash installations these past couple weeks! After some material and tool delays and, like, LOTS of technical things to work out, I was practically vibrating with energy and anxiety to get things moving along!! Studio vibes have been oscillating between sheer panic and overwhelming joy and excitement to be working on these projects. Thank you @artvillenash and @samanthasaturn for believing in me and my work and giving me this opportunity!! I I’m really so excited share these pieces with everyone!

I’m a little late to posting… but the sentiment remains the same — thank you, @thehardingartshow , for another amazing year!
This show is such a joy to be part of, and it was even more special this time around getting to see so many familiar faces and meeting new ones, too.
One unexpected gift of pursuing art full-time has been the joy of connecting with people over my work — from fellow artists to passionate collectors and art lovers. It was such a pleasure chatting with new collectors and reconnecting with longtime supporters.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this show happen, to those who stopped by to say hello, and to everyone who took a piece of my work home! If you picked up a piece, I’d love to see it in its new home — feel free to tag me! 💛
After a really busy spring prepping for this show, I’m so excited and the tiiiiniest bit scared to be embarking on some new creative challenges this summer! Stay tuned!

Come see me (us?!) this weekend @thehardingartshow !

These new pieces (58 in total!) were such a joy to create and I think you’ll love how they bring warmth and personality into any space. The show opens on Thursday evening to Saturday, and I’ll be there in person to chat and share more about the work. I’ve love to see you!

For those of you who live further away there will also be an online collection available so you can shop from anywhere (online show runs through May 7th.)

I just feel so excited and inspired after this show!! I know the encouragement and enthusiasm from the co-chairs, volunteers and attendees played a part. Along with meeting friends old and new, connecting with other artists, feeling the love from the city I call home, not stressing myself out out before the show with a dozen unnecessary additions to my task list… This was one of the good ones and I’m just reveling in the afterglow ✨THANK YOU @thehardingartshow!! And a very special thank you to co-chairs @audbguest and @buchanannyc! You absolutely crushed it and loved getting to know you both better! 💗 BURSTING! 💖💖💖
