I’ve dreamt of this moment since I was 4! I am blessed to announce that I will be playing collegiate baseball at Tyler Junior College!

I give all glory to God as He has given me the ability to continue my playing career into college!

Thank you Mom, Dad, and Camie for the countless hours spent at cages all across the country allowing me to chase my dreams. Thank you Chad for the simplicity of hitting and the countless hours of minor tweaks and talking about Band of Brothers. Thank you Collin for making summer fun and allowing the Wow Boys to be ourselves. Thank you Bodzin for the hours on the phone getting my name in front of people that needed to see me. Thank you Coach Leach for pouring into me for the last 6 years at TCA. Thank you Coach Tarbox for always pouring into me when I needed it! Finally, thank you to everybody (Kecia, Britt, Jojo, Austin, Reggie, you know who you are) that’s helped me on my journey to get here, I am forever grateful!

What a year 27 has been.
This year has truly been one of the most rewarding and challenging ones yet.
It was a year of struggle, change, surrendering to the Lord, and walking with a new and greater purpose.
It was a year I truly feel the Lord marked me for change.
To walk with a new confidence, to turn from people & habits that no longer served me, and to prepare me for all of the amazing things the Lord has put on my heart.

I took a new Job.
I’ve met tons of amazing people & new friends.
I found a church that has radically changed my walk with the Lord.
I got to celebrate friends stepping into new & exciting chapters.
& I met the sweetest human to share this life with.

The Lord has been so faithful to me & something tells me 28 will be the best year yet!

My theme for last week was, “I’m leaving this 🤬 wit sumn”! Ended with 2 TE’s with the fastest 40’s… but also left some money on the table!

Either way it go… I’m forever Grateful to be in rooms where the standard is elite and the respect is mutual. Seeing others in this space continue to push the needle forward is a reminder — growth never stops at the top.

I almost quit physical therapy.

And not because I didn’t love it.

But because I was told to care… and then punished for doing it.

Insurance told me how long someone could be in pain. Or on my table.

Productivity metrics told me how much time I was allowed to think. Or how many I needed to squeeze onto my schedule.

Managers told me to be efficient, not effective.
And I started wondering… Is this it?

Is this really what I spent 7 years of school for?
Because if it is…

then I’m not sure I want it.

But then something shifted.

I stopped waiting for permission to give a damn.

I stopped playing small in systems that didn’t value outcomes.

And I started building something better.

For my athletes. For me. For my family. For our profession.

For the next generation of PTs who deserve to know it doesn’t have to be this way.

So yes… I almost quit. Left it all behind.

But instead, I burned their blueprint. Wrote my own.
And I’m still here.
