NOTTINGHAM Since we got back home we have been dealing with a bunch of issues, day job, bills, and other stuff, a few minutes ago we also reassembled our home studio as we are eager to work on two new songs… that we left on standby... We have been meaning to tell you about the UK tour! Let’s see….. There was a number of times when we said “never again”, or “never again, not this way” …. but in the end we got our satisfactions! NOTTINGHAM: our third time here, twice before we had had technical issues, we were really hoping to have a good show this time… Our first time working with this promoter, they contacted us after we announced we were going to tour, it was one of the first confirmed gigs.  They actually did a lot of  promoting…. As did the bands in the line up they put together!  Everybody collaborated, which is nice!!!  Bands we didn’t know and were happy to discover! We are sorry we missed the Liight set, due to having to walk to the hotel to check in before the receptionist left… We had dried to drive there to the hotel earlier! We got to the venue at 4pm, driving up from London…  perfect timing! But nope, we had read the note wrong, load in was at 4:30pm. So we said, the hotel is only a few minutes away, let’s go check in before sound check. Nope, nope, and nope! If you are at the venue, don’t move from there, you may get stuck in traffic and one way streets for 45 minutes. So we rushed the load in and got ready for soundcheck, with our new little system through which we can control both in-ear monitors and even the FOH, if needed… Luckily Cam the sound engineer was very cooperative and helpful and could also connect to our X18 and check on things (I hadn’t thought of that… I had prepared a second set up for that kind of scenario)…. This is all due to some recent experiences where someone tried to deafen the Bat with all kinds of loud feedback, after which the Bat decided to always wear in-ear monitors controlled by ourselves…. haha… Being blond is enough, thank you. But this system was tested in our studio, we ended up fine tuning on this UK tour...

@imnotfromlondon presents... Friday September 11th @thegrovenotts A dark night of gothic nu-wave and post punk with more than a passing nod to Italy. Do not miss this... We caught up with @kee.band who are second on the bill tomorrow evening for a pre-gig chat…. ‘ @kee.band What or who are they? Interesting question. There is not too much information out there about this band, which I imagine is how they like it. Here is what I do know,: they are an alternative psychedelic electro collective from Nottingham who have been described as “Portishead on steroids”, not a bad description to be honest. Their latest track “Sound” is heavy on atmosphere with an air of mystique and intrigue. The lead vocalist has an enchanting and mesmerising singing style. Her voice is soulful with a dark rock undercurrent and a hint of macabre cabaret thrown in for good measure. On this track her voice sounds like a heady concoction of Beth Gibbons, PJ Harvey and vintage Bjork. Kee’s signature sound is almost impossible to classify and that’s what makes it so damn satisfying and entertaining. This is electronic music with enough darkness and intrigue that alternative rock fans can easily get on board with. I cannot stop listening to this track and this is testament to how good this exciting and ground breaking new band really is.’ - Lisa Knight - @accidentalmusicreviewer Also playing are @the.spiritual.bat and @liight_band Hosted by @coffin.goblin Get your tickets here from @gigantictickets now! £8 adv/ 10 otd Doors at 7.30 #Kee. #interview #Goth #Imnotfromlondon #fridaynight

BEFORE THE #ECLIPSE... WATCH OUR NEW VIDEO! Anti-Matter premieres August 12th at 5pm, in LESS THAN AN HOUR! On Yami Spechie's Youtube Channel! 🦇❤🦇 COPY-PASTE or find link in Story! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj4fc60wUk8 🦇 Written and Directed by Mattia Viselli 🦇 Assistant Directors: Matteo Mancini & Matteo Marconi 🦇 “ANTI-MATTER” – A Cosmic Rebellion in Sound & Vision Directed by Mai-ves (Mattia Viselli), “Anti-Matter” is a visceral, poetic explosion from The Spiritual Bat, weaving the micro and macro cosmic into a singular, haunting experience. From the vastness of the cosmos—“a speck of dust in the light beam”—to the raw pulse of human defiance—“Oh fate, why take so much from me?”—this is a ritual of sight and sound. A third-eye revelation in a world drowning in noise, where “perfection is in the decline” and “sweet surrender” becomes the quiet strength to see beyond the illusion. MUSIC Song: “Anti-Matter”, from The Spiritual Bat's upcoming album “Theatre of Dust”. Featuring: 🦇 Dario Passamonti (Guitar) 🦇 Rosetta 🦇 Garrì (Voice) 🦇 Sydney Mars (Bass) 🦇 DOC HAMMER (Drums!!!) 🦇 Produced and Mixed by @Doc Hammer at Goat of Brass Studio 🦇 Mastering by Valerio Rivieccio 🦇 Label: Swiss Dark Nights Records 🦇 Paintings on the wall by Dario Passamonti (I Pittori Alchimisti) #TheSpiritualBat #AntiMatter #TheatreOfDust #YamiSpechie #NewVideo #solareclipse NEXT LIVE DATES 🦇 11/09 NOTTINGHAM @ The Grove Notts + KEE. + @LIIGHT 🦇 12/09 WOLVERHAMPTON @ The Giffard Arms 🦇 13/09 GATESHEAD @ The Doll at the Black Bull + tba 🦇 14/09 CHESTERFIELD @ The Bank Showbar 🦇 15/09 LEICESTER @ The International Music Venue (Lilith and The Raven Promotions) + Last Dusk (from Costa Rica!) + and Courtesan (UK) 🦇 16/09 LONDON @ Hope and Anchor + @Zuüul 🦇 17/09 tba, maybe rest? 😅 🦇 18/09 WINGHAM @ The Anchor at Wingham + @The Absolute Loves 🦇 19/09 tba 🦇 20/09 BOURNEMOUTH @ Anvil Rockbar Bournemouth...
