Guessss what!!! I said it out loud. 🥹🌹

For the first time, I shared a deeply painful part of my story in a room full of women. The kind of story you watch in a Lifetime movie and wonder how somebody lived through it.

Except it was my life. And this time, I was the woman holding the microphone.

I was afraid of being judged. Afraid of how much to say. Afraid of how I would feel once the words were out. But I chose to speak as a powerful woman who is still healing, still gathering herself, and learning to trust her own voice.

Markeeda’s birthday celebration, “Let’s GATHER — As I Gather Myself,” was the most intentional birthday experience I have ever attended.

Thank you for celebrating your life in a way that invited other women to honor theirs. You gave us space to gather our thoughts, our peace, our courage, and our power.

As you gather yourself, please know: I am here, sis. And I SEE YOU.

You said there are things you want to accomplish and that you need a push. Consider this mine. I’m ready to encourage you and walk beside you as you take those next steps.

Let’s go, sis. We still have so much blooming to do. 🌹🤍

Had so much fun drawing at the @harcum_design Senior Runway 2025 “HOMECOMING” produced by RET214 class under the direction of Professor @prajjeoscar on 4/25/25. I was so impressed by the gorgeous fashion by these talented designers! I wasn’t quick enough to draw the models, but I did get to capture several drawings of the glamorous front row! The show was hosted by @iamfrancislondon of @uglyduklynclothing (who does a mean Electric Slide) and the “Refs” were @gimicks247 , @mikegreenidge and Luke Victor of @freepeople . As advertised, it was definitely a night of “Style, creativity and fierce fashion moments”!
