The Summer of Pink 💖💐🩷🧞‍♀️💝💒💞🧫💗🛍️💘 Comment your favorite shade of pink! (baby pink, hot pink, fuchsia, flamingo, other, mine is magenta!) #pink #love #kibbsinit #brt72 Deep dive for my caption readers: I cried three times this summer. I’m mentioning this not because crying should be a special event that needs to be celebrated or noted, but because I have a balance of on one hand not often crying because I’m just not a cryer, but I am also not afraid to cry or afraid of masculinity/femininity/social emotional standards. Those 3 times: 1. Gruncle Paul died. He’s my Gma’s brother, everyone called him Sonny, but I called him Uncle Paul all my life until I found out later he’s actually my Gruncle. He was a craftsman, a servant, and an amazing guy. He spread kindness and jokes everywhere he went, and I have a Damascus knife and a pair of his family company moccasins to remember him. 2. My best friend washed my other friend’s feet. The most joyful man I met whom I worked with serving others washed my summer sister’s feet, showing our middle school students a physical representation of the love that we have for them. (In Bible times everyone’s feet were covered in mud and 💩 so when Jesus did the lowest of the low’s job of cleaning his friend’s feet, it was revolutionary.) 3. Josie got baptized. There’s a 50% chance I tutor this specific theatre class, 20 or so students in that class that I could’ve became friends with, and about 100 other split paths that led me to randomly bringing Josie to church on a Sunday, where we heard a story about two girls bawling like babies because God worked through them. Cropped out of the picture, I’m bawling seeing her baptized, which is just Josie saying she is wrong, God is right, and she gotta change. Y’all, cry more. Find those moments where things randomly click together, or you get to spend a summer with new best friends, or you decide that you don’t need to change the world to make a difference. And if you have any ✝️☯️🔯☪️ questions at all, from the concept of worshiping a sky daddy, heaven and hell, or why I love all, reach out. It’s more than just rules.

✨6•1•24✨ From dance parties in the bridal suite to sweet worship during the ceremony, capturing the Weida’s big day was an absolute joy! Despite last-minute weather changes and an unexpected ER visit, the love and celebration never stopped. Cheers to Ashton and Connor as they embark on this exciting new journey together! #wisconsinphotographer #weddingphotography #weddingday #madisonphotographer #brideandgroom
