Thanks to everyone who made @great_northern_events such a brilliant show; the organisers, the staff, the visitors, and of course the makers! Each year a few more friends are made and a few more friendships deepened. This community is so precious!

've neglected my raffle after a really busy month so here we go...

30th August 2026, the 13th anniversary of saying goodbye to my mum Susie, I launched my 2026 creative charity fundraiser.

Mum & I loved a raffle when I was a child, often seen at summer fairs with arms full of prizes.
So, with 6 amazing prizes so far, this year is a good old fashioned raffle.
A massive Thank you to @keeleytraae_3d, @henriettaparkknitwear, @clairegentart, @emmaleonardjewellery & @lisaberkshire_illustratedworld for their gorgeous prize donations, they all look amazing. In addition I’ve added 2 prizes from @flowersforsusie.

Raising money for 2 incredible charities @michaelsltd and @thegoodgrieftrust both are close to my heart and are small but mighty charities creating communities of support for tyhose in need.
In a world that can often feel disconnected and fragmented community is so important and these 2 charities are creating just.

Hello there!

It was good to catch up with @keeleytraae_3d and @dom_marshallprint last week when they brought in new stock of Keeley’s colourful vessels and Dom’s tinned tea towels.

We were also discussing how to use the upstairs space next year. So plans are afoot and we will keep you updated on our progress and yes I will fill the hole in the wall before then!

Currently we are focused on the winter season ( I’m not saying the actual word just yet) There is new stock arriving each week, so plenty to tempt you.

There is something wonderful about the moment a handmade piece finds its place at home, a rug that anchors the room, a vase on the windowsill, a print you catch out of the corner of your eye each morning.
