"Humble Grace Love Inc," young black men, take nothing for granted, search for truth in all of your dealings, because it's been buried for centuries. You are aware that our ancestors fought, protested, some lost their lives with you on their minds. Even though we've never been given any respect, that was already stripped away by slave traders before our feet ever touched dry land. After being auctioned off like cattle to the highest bidding plantation owners, families were broken up, little girls (including mothers) lost possession (rights by law) of their own bodies in the early 1800s, and I am seeing nothing much has changed in 2026. Our women..taken.. credit for our inventions.. taken.. property.. taken.. home equity.. taken.. generations of financial stability.. taken.. passed laws making it illegal to teach Afro Americans how to read or write-self-worth.. taken.. a strong rich functioning economic system established.. taken.. civil rights.. taken.. fair and just treatment.. taken.. inclusion.. taken.. one's ability to think for themselves (hopes / dreams).. taken.. humane treatment.. taken.. Injustice.. given. Young men (regardless of race or preference) don't become distracted by the noise, rhetoric on both sides of the aisle (political party), lock in, stay the course..keep your eyes on the prize (goal), regardless of the challenge.

keeping your eyes on the prize is Philippians 3:14: "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus". Another key related passage is Hebrews 12:2, which tells believers to fix their eyes on Jesus.

Galatians 6:9 NIV
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 NIV
11 I have seen something else under the sun:
The race is not to the swift
or the battle to the strong,
nor does food come to the wise
or wealth to the brilliant
or favor to the learned;
but time and chance happen to them all.
