Absolutely heart breaking to hear about the closure of St Margret's house in January. Hundreds of residents including artists, small businesses, charities and unions are being evicted early next year to make space for student flats. Please make an effort in the next few months to talk about this, share the story to your friends and family and reach out to your local councilor and msp. We’re looking forward to the annual Gullane Village Association artisan fair this weekend. If you live locally, please pop along for a visit. The worlds burning. We’re aw anxious. And we need tae get off our phones. What’s the solution? I don’t know. But I do know doing a bit of art and connecting with others helps. So come join us on Saturday 24th October at Quality Yard in Leith for a giant colouring in event! We’ve got three of our favourite street and mural artists who are painting big gorgeous outlines for you to colour in. Check them out here @jodt22 @laurenemmybow and @dullartist24 All materials are provided and everyone’s welcome. Drop in between 12-4pm and colour in a wee section, a big piece or just hang out and chat with us. Access info Venue: @quality_yard 20 Maritime Lane, Leith. Colour it is an outdoor event and the space is wheelchair accessible. We will be playing music at a low level. The nearest public toilets are on Leith Links, approx 5-7 minutes away.
