Congratulations to Sinclair Astridge on making his professional debut last night for the Halifax Wanderers against Toronto FC in a friendly in Halifax.

Sinclair had a standout performance several times coming up large to keep TFC searching for answers. The game finished with a 3-1 final for TFC but it was Sinclair that drew a lot of the attention post match for several key saves.

Congratulations Sinclair from all of us at LEGK. He has joined us on a few occasions when he was in London visiting his sister, longtime LEGK goalkeeper / coach Maddy.

Coach Mark had the pleasure of meeting Sinclair on several occasions in his visits to Victoria as he was a member of Keeper Culture through his young years before heading east to school and landing with the Wanderers this season.

Best of luck to Sinclair and the Wanderers in the rest of their season.

WELCOME HOME, COACH TOM!

We’re excited to welcome Coach Tom Knipe back to the LEGK coaching staff.

Tom has been a part of the LEGK family for many years, first as a dedicated goalkeeper in our programs before growing into one of our lead staff coaches.

His commitment to learning, improving, and giving back to the next generation of goalkeepers has always made him an invaluable part of our team.

Over the past few months, Tom has been attending Teacher’s College at the University of Victoria while continuing to develop his coaching alongside our friends at Keeper Culture.

The opportunity to learn in a new environment and work with another outstanding goalkeeper development program has added even more experience to his coaching toolbox.

We’re thrilled to have Tom back home and can’t wait for our goalkeepers to benefit from everything he’s learned.

Welcome back, Tom! Can’t wait to have you back on the pitch for our July Programs. 🧤
