🔥 Another incredible day of goalkeeping development at AFC Goalkeeper Academy.

From the youngest keepers to the oldest, every session is built around improving technique, decision-making, confidence, and the mentality required to perform under pressure.

Proud of the work these goalkeepers continue to put in every week. The future is bright. 🧤⚽️

At AFC Goalkeeper Academy, we create a competitive but fun environment where goalkeepers are pushed, challenged, and developed every single session.

-MID HEIGHT DIVES-

This Exercise is the next variation of the previous low dive exercise. This is also designed to work on footwork as well as shape in our mid height dives. Again we start with an initial volley before jumping laterally into a recovery back to our line, before setting for a mid height ball. We want to work on good hand and body shape, while coming forward in our dive. It is very important that we work forward to cut down the angle. Keys to look for in this exercise are, the recovery footwork back to our line and making sure we are set on time and that we dive forward and through the ball, not only with our step, but also with our hands and chest.
