“Natural light tintype portraits by @matt_alberts_photography at @reginasgrocery on the Lower East Side. Thursday, October 15th. One day only! Each portrait is made one at a time, a one-of-a-kind original on metal, developed on site. The image is formed in pure silver, making tintypes among the most archival photographs ever made, built to last for generations. Reservations recommended https://www.mattalbertsphotography.com/events/reginas-grocery link in my profile.”

My varnishing process with @keeperoftheflame. This is a traditional varnish that I make with Gum Sandarac the sap of a Sandarac tree, Everclear and Pure Lavender Oil. Just don’t let it touch the flame 😉😝😳🔥🔥🔥🔥 Modern varnishes or shellack sit in the surface of the photographic emulsion instead of absorbing into it. I prefer the old school Gum Sandarac method that has been proven to last over 180 years. Plus who doesn’t love the smell of lavender oil after a long day of darkroom chemistry. #tintype #wetplatecollodion #varnish #oldschool

If there’s one place that defines the restorative power of nature, Montana is at the top of the list. Which makes it the perfect place to take the Camp Nice family for some quality time together in the outdoors. 🦅 With the help of @highlandranchmt and @jupeinc tents, the crew headed out from NYC and found ourselves in a refreshing world of rivers, lakes, mountains and forests. From local activities like river floats and horseback riding, hanging with rehabilitated native falcons, hawks and owls, hiking in the majestic Glacier National Park to Camp Nice classics like dominos, archery and campfire cookouts – our campers once again lived out their Big Sky dreams. 🦉 Special thanks to all our brand partners: @alphaindustries , @aplos.world , @cocojune_organic , @herschelsupply , @mamaoskimchi , @nomina_drink & @solelyfruit ! 🫶 Directed, Filmed and Edited by: @mistergoodlife , @raymendeznyc + @andreypiontkovski Additional Footage by: @larrynunez Drone Footage by: @raymendeznyc Produced by: @wearethegoodlife #CampNice #WeMakeItNice 🏕️

let me tell you a story. @wearethegoodlife has always combined the element of sports with downtown NYC culture. in 2010 when i was a baby dj and @sethzaplin was my manager, he introduced me to Craig (@mistergoodlife) and The Good Life crew. talk about instant kismet energy. not only did TGL have their own soccer / fútbol league but they were deeply embedded in snowboarding, skateboarding and more. they took me in and had me DJ countless events of theirs. i followed them to the Aspen mountain tops to the lakes of Promiseland, PA. they became my family, and will remain so for life. our shared ethos of bringing people from all walks of life together through sports & nature, is deeply & consistently practiced. to watch the World Cup finals together on a sunny rooftop in the LES with @igloocoolers as our bench seating, @sondelnorth with the epic burritos flowing, and music by yours truly — was the best combo thus far ❤️ what an example of unity. and what a wonderful World Cup ⚽️ thx for having me DJ & host. let’s do it all again in 4 years fam! 📷 by @levidopeness
