The white dial Speedmaster came into our lives in 2024 and took over the conversation! For over a year these remained hard to find and get. And I can sure see why. Somehow Omega was able to capture all of the iconic essence of the original black dial but give a little flair of red at the same time. For me still one of the best releases from @omega over the last few years.

The TinTin is back in action and will soon finally get an (almost) black dial companion. My enthusiasm for the Speedmaster has never left me (especially Anniversary and Limited Editions), but now I’m completely hooked on this classic and fantastic timepiece again.

As I hinted at in my stories, a new watch is on the way, and yes, it’s a Speedmaster, a limited edition.

I can reveal this much: it was enthusiastically mentioned by Matt in the penultimate episode of @thatwatchpodcast 😅.

It was a rather simple choice as to which of my watches to choose to kick off #28days28watches with. To be honest, since I purchased this handsome timekeeping machine from watch bro Todd @bad_watch_habit in December, it has logged the most time on my wrist. If...heaven forbid, I had to have a one watch collection, this would be it. Hands down.

For those of you who will be missing church services this weekend, my background prop makes for a pretty decent sermon. Especially the admonition to "Be Kind." Hope all of you are off to a great start for the weekend.

As I was getting bored in hospital recovery, I remembered that my phone was nearby, in a storage bag. I opened it up and sent some texts to my Fiancé and then close family and friends. Then I opened IG @watchmewatch9. I was blown away. I became extremely emotional and moved by 160 likes within 6 hours, no watch, no tags at all. The nurse returned and saw me wiping tears from my eyes and thought something was wrong. I assured her it was quite the opposite. Everything was so right. This watch fam community is something quite special. Thanks so much to all who sent well wishes. I have come to the belief that humans who have evolved over 10s of 1000s of years and have developed unseen energy & communication skills. I felt the love and healing energy from so many, and I have no doubt that that energy helped guide my surgeons hand. In recovery, he said everything went perfectly, including stiching up the former wound from the initial hip in July.

Thank you, Watch Fam. Having broken away from a lifelong, high demand religion not too long ago. I'm rather sensitive about aligning myself with any group. The organic nature of this group is heartening and wonderful. No baptism required. 😉😊🥰. "..could it be I finally found my home at last...home at last." Steely Dan 🎶
