2025 was a wild ride—it wasn’t a smooth road by any stretch of the imagination, but we opened a brewery this year and that’s pretty damn cool.

Visited @keepingtogetherbeer this weekend in Santa Fe, New Mexico and it truly was an experience.

A lot of people might know this but Keeping Together was previously in Chicago, and recently relocated to Santa Fe, NM. They specialize in Saisons and Farmhouse Ales, from the minds of Averie Swanson and Pat Fahey, two Master Cicerones.

They turned this massive greenhouse into a brewery space and beverage garden as they call it, and it’s truly beautiful. Every detail was meticulously defined and the atmosphere was absolutely incredible. The greenhouse panels let just the right amount of light, and the ambience was perfect.

While they are still in the process of brewing their own beers in this location, I enjoyed a couple of great brews by Canteen Brewhouse and Gravity Bound Brewing. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy some of their beers in the short future!

I did a movie marathon of Ready or Not and it’s such a campy kinda horror movie, not scary but kinda funny with a bad ass leading lady! Second was the best one I think. 🩸

santa fe was the smallest bonus of my road trip to new mexico to surprising @averieswanson & @patfahey24 at their GRAND OPENING of @keepingtogetherbeer. i could write paragraphs of how amazing it was to see their hard work come to fruition. the space & staff they have created is just so incredible, and getting to see my bb @jemwilson84 made everything that much more magical 🫶🫶🫶

oh, and frozen gin & tonics? say less.

Out in the desert on an unseasonably hot, sunny day, Keeping Together officially opened the doors of its bright, airy repurposed greenhouse space.

I’m incredibly proud of Averie, whose beers remain exquisite (even the pilsner collab and “accidental” brown ale, in fact how dare you be so good at this) and whose determination I continue to admire. I’m stoked to see Pat hustling his ass off and managing to enjoy the moment through the exhaustion and sleep deprivation that come with opening a business. It was an honor to pour you a shifty.

Somehow the stars aligned and made it possible for Caroline and me to join up with Neil for KT’s grand opening, and there’s truly nowhere else I’d rather have been this past weekend. Congrats, team—I hope this monster you’ve created sees a long life of beauty.
