So it’s official, after struggling with the decision over the past few weeks and the battle between practically and Desert FOMO. I’ve finally made the tough choice that Burning Man will just have to go on without Me this year.
Although I’ll miss all the Art, creative ingenuity, epic sunrises and sets , dusty dance parties , Vibey DJ sets , Angelic beauty’s and Stylish Brothas I think what I’m gonna really miss the most is the Friends and connections that are only cultivated on the Playa.
So to all my fellow Burners out there, do a little Sunrise dance for me and Enjoy your days in the dust!! Make it count as don’t take time spent w friends( Old and New) for granted !!! You never know when it may be the last time you see them or get to spend with them. Be grateful that you made it to the place where you can be yourself without judgement, you can experience God’s beauty while not stressing the struggles of the outside world. And where you can learn a lot about Life back in the real world of you just pay attention. Spend some time alone, go get lost , discover things on your own and be open and preceptive to learning from anyone or thing that may be trying to teach you a lesson.
Some people like to say owe , I’ve graduated from Burning Man, and grew up, or Oh BM is Not what it used to be... well maybe so but I know I’ll be back one day... just not this time.
So Burn on my brothas n sistas!! Stay safe!!
And remember, if you can be good, be good at it!! 😛
