Joanna Manzo-Davis is the co-founder & CEO of Top Dog Spirits, a full strength canned cocktail brand at twelve and a half percent ABV. Her sales strategy comes straight from her wholesale days - right product, right account. A high ABV canned cocktail loses to a bar’s own well pour every time, so Top Dog doesn’t chase every bar in the state, it goes deep into beer gardens, concert venues, and stadiums, the places where the product actually wins. That single decision shapes everything else about how the brand grows. She also staffed the company with industry veterans instead of spreading a small budget across a bigger headcount. We are honored to announce a new partnership with @phillypride365 on a limited-edition release of our beloved Blood Orange Margarita for Philly Pride 2026! We are especially proud to have collaborated with @nataliehopemcdonald on the can design. Natalie is a prominent Philadelphia fine artist, muralist, and writer whose vibrant pop-art aesthetic draws inspiration from urban imagery, street art, and contemporary culture. Her bold and unmistakable work has earned an international following, with collectors including Spike Lee and Ketanji Brown Jackson. The limited-edition cans will debut in early June at several events leading up to Pride Festival on Sunday, June 7, before becoming available at select retailers throughout the Philadelphia area. A percentage of all cans sold at Pride Fest will be donated back to Philly Pride 365. Each can features a QR code that allows consumers to directly support Philly Pride 365 through donations, creating an easy and impactful call to action that extends beyond the celebration itself. Yesterday I stopped by @topdogcocktails Espresso Martini release. It’s a PA-produced, spirit-based, ready-to-drink cocktail made in collaboration with @bean2beancoffeeco, so the espresso is legit and locally sourced. We love the local partnership and seeing brands work together like this. @char_lobster_rolls_and_more served oysters with lemon and chocolate shavings that paired so well with the espresso martini’s simple and well executed. Blood Orange Holiday Spritz A bright x bubbly winter cocktail with citrus sparkle and holiday cheer. Ingredients • 1 can Top Dog Blood Orange Margarita @topdogcocktails • 2–4 oz Prosecco (adjust sweetness + strength to taste) • Fresh squeeze of lime • Optional: 0.5–1 oz cranberry juice for color + holiday vibe Garnish • Sugared cranberries or an orange wheel (Simple, clean, and instantly festive) How to Make It 1. Fill a glass with ice. 2. Pour in the Blood Orange Margarita. 3. Add Prosecco — start with 2 oz and increase to preference. 4. Squeeze in fresh lime juice. 5.
