A little sneak peek this morning at the proposed interior concept, we have created for the up coming Pedrick’s Zero Waste Store! We are getting very close to starting works on site, this is a preview into what will be coming. We are looking to reuse existing fittings & materials remaining from the previous shopfit, adding in new elements but focusing on using reclaimed materials, like scaffolding boards, wood from used pallets, vintage & second hand light fittings & accessories. #openingsoon #retaildesign #zerowasteshopping #waronplastic #zerowasteliving #storedesign #interiors

A little project we’ve been busy working on has just opened, a new store in Woking @ashworthandbirdbaby in partnership with @mamasandpapas A new shopfront has gone in as well as an extensive interior refurbishment, the store has home, travel & fashion lines & an intimate space for a personal shopping experience to help you get everything prepared for your new arrival along with a private room to allow parents to feed their babies. There will be a new space on the first floor which will be finished soon where parents & parents to be can come throughout the month for a mixture of courses, exercise classes & baby & toddler classes, this is a great space that will allow the community a hub to meet gather & play! #retaildesign #interiordesign #woking #babystore #shopfronts #design #commercialdesign #babyshower

So here it is the shopfront design for the first @pedrickszerowaste shop! Very excited to be part of this project such a great concept removing plastic from our everyday shopping. On the shopfront we’re looking at using reclaimed timber, placing it on the fascia & painting in the brand colour with hand written signage, there will be more to unveil on & in the windows & of course the interior but that will have to wait for another day very soon! #openingsoon #retaildesign #zerowasteshopping #zerowasteliving #shopfronts #design #signagedesign #signage

Keff&co have recently been working with an exciting brand @pedrickszerowaste they are set to shake up the high street & create a revolutionary way to shop! In their words their concept explained: We have realised that if we really want to change the world, and the way people shop, we need to make it as easy, and similar to the current shopping experience as possible, just without all of the single use plastic packaging. We want to offer a package free alternative to your every day household and food products. Pedrick’s Zero Waste Shop, based in Caterham, Surrey will stock produce from all local suppliers based within a 30 mile radius, where possible. Our aim is to eventually be able to provide you with an Eco-friendly, renewable alternative to everything that you can currently buy in a Chain Supermarket. We want you to be able to walk into our store, and happily shop away knowing that everything has been sourced ethically and with sustainability in mind. Working closely with Pedrick’s we have designed a concept to compliment their vision this is a glimpse at the inspirational mood board, the design concept is based heavily on reusing & repurposing materials this is seen in the proposed materials, fixtures & fittings for the exterior of the store through into the interior. @sarahakwisombe @the_mum_hub Last night I went to my first networking event. I was really nervous! I tend to the introverted side but I know it was time to get fr behind my screen and meet some more amazing women in real life who are also looking to create amazing businesses for themselves. Shamoly or Shay runs @the_mum_hub a supportive community for working mum's or mum's in business. I had only just found out about her a few weeks ago and so excited when this local event popped up! We got to hear @sarahakwisombe speak who is also started following in the summer time. I lived hearing her story, it's really inspiring to me. I love that she's a local mum who's crafted an amazing lifestyle and creative business. Usually the online success stories are over in the USA and you don't always feel it's possible here but to hear that she's done it, made me feel encouraged! The mum's I met we're friendly and I'm really glad I went. I'm looking forward to meeting more over the months. The was a very creative feel which I loved too. The food was amazing and happened to be vegan (I need to learn how to cook lentils!) I've also tagged in as many of the ladies as I can remember. Go follow and have a look at what they're doing! I'm pretty wiped out now, it's been a crazy week and I'm actually going to have a nap. I love working on @calledoutliving but #selfcare is really important especially when you're prone to #anxiety . I was actually quite tearful yesterday so I promise myself a nap and a rest this morning while the kids are at school and this after we'd chill together and do crafts aka sticking and cutting 😁 and probably put a movie on in the background. What's your Friday/weekend looking like? Have an amazing one too 😘😘😘
