Happy 8th birthday to my very first litter!!!

We had 10 perfect Divas. 8/10 went to friends or friends of friends, one went to a wonderful lady Dolly and I met in Petsmart, and one became a service dog through a company in Klamath Falls for a veteran (who is now living in New Hampshire!). These amazing puppies began this crazy journey, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! We’ve grown so much as a program, but my commitment to raising happy, healthy, loved dogs has never changed.

Keeping this as short as I can… PAO was such a blessing again this year, but my experience was completely different than last time.
This year, I found community. I found people living lives similar to mine, all just trying to grow closer to God..people seeking accountability, partnership, and genuine love in Christ. Every speaker left us with something to carry home, but what stood out most to me was realizing my experience didn’t have to end when the conference did.
After being recruited to play mafia & staying up til 2am conversations turned into connections, and connections turned into community. This time we exchanged numbers. This time it felt bigger than just four days.
Community and accountability matter when you’re building your relationship with Christ, especially in the spaces and professions we’re in, where it’s easy to get swallowed by the world.
I’m usually reserved around new people, but I left encouraged, excited, and ready to build real relationships with people who simply want to grow in their walk with God just like I do.
The word for me this year was community and I’m leaving committed to nurturing these relationships, staying encouraged, and bringing others along on the journey.
Already looking forward to next year.

Words can barely describe all of the emotions I’ve felt over the past few days at this year’s Increase Conference. I truly feel so encouraged, and I’m filled with such a hunger to better my relationship with Christ! It was only a few days, but I feel like I grew better as a wife, a woman, and most importantly, a daughter in Christ. Thank you so much @moore.toria (& Chris) for sponsoring us this year and just for being a part of our lives & encouraging us throughout such a busy / stressful rookie year 🩷 I’m so blessed to have gained such amazing, God fearing women as forever friends over the past year & I’m eternally grateful for the impact that they’ve had & will continue to have in my life 🩷

10 years ago I was in one of the biggest transitions of my life following Chris to Baltimore after being drafted. I took a chance and went to the ravens ladies Bible study believing in God but no relationship with him. I sat in that study without saying a word, just soaking in the wisdom of all the older women. We were pushed to go to our first PAO (s/o the Aikens for sponsoring us @tiffyport ) and publicly gave our lives to Christ through being baptized. Here we are today, same conference but completely different people. And the Lord still showed up like He always does. Tears fill my eyes just thinking about it. Spending time with our commanders fam and former teammates, this week was special. Praying for every single person in attendance, that we don’t just have this conference high and turn right back to a life without Him. I pray that we boldly go out into the world living for Christ. Until all have heard 🖤
